Fast Food Review: The Chargrilled and Fruit Salad from Chick-fil-A

Fruit salad tags along with Chick-fil-A’s Chargrilled Chicken Garden Salad to create an interesting hybrid of colorful items.  Introducing the Chargrilled and Fruit Salad from Chick-fil-A

Chargrilled and Fruit Salad from Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A uses a nice array of fresh ingredients to stock up this salad.  Slices of grilled chicken breast sit atop a blend of romaine and iceberg lettuce.  Also in the mix you’ll find shredded red cabbage, carrots and a blend of Monterrey Jack and Cheddar cheese. All these ingredients are typical of Chick-fil-A Chargrilled Chicken Garden Salad.  This new twist on a menu regular adds in a nice blend of fresh fruit.  A very refreshing variety of fruits join this salad including strawberry slices, red grapes, red and green slices of apple and a some decent sized mandarin orange slices.  I really enjoyed the included packet of crunchy harvest nut granola.  I recommend the granola as it packs a nice sweetness to the experience.  Also available to top the salad…garlic and butter croutons and honey roasted sunflower kernels.

  3. I don’t know….I think $5.55 for that is great. Sounds delish. I have NEVER eaten at a Chick-Fil-A. There are few around me….I’ll have to search one out and give it a shot.

@ Bear … Yeah it’s really not a bad deal….I think it’s just pricey for “fast food”…totally worth it though…I’ve been getting this salad pretty often on recent CFA trips…I forgot to mention.. Also available to top the salad…garlic and butter croutons and honey roasted sunflower kernels. (post updated)

This salad is awesome…most of the time, i eat it without the salad dressing…the honey roasted sunflower seeds are awesome…well worth the $6, I think…no guilt after eating it…

This is one of the best salads I have ever eaten! I had one for lunch for the first time today. I enjoyed It so much that I got another one on the way home.

Blue cheese dressing….seriously. I hated blue cheese
until my mother conned me into trying one of these with it. The
sweetness of the fruit balances out the tang factor. I’ve eaten it
so many times I’ve acquired a taste for blue cheese! Good stuff. I
    mean really, really good stuff!

I have had this salad from several Chick-fil-As, and all were awesome! Shows that Chick-fil-A really cares about their quality. When I first saw it, I didn’t think it was going to fill me up, however, I struggled to finish because I was so full – well worth the price!!! I used the Lite Italian dressing on mine and prefer the sunflower seeds over the granola crunch.
