Wendy’s Introduces the $5 Biggie Bag

Wendy’s created “a deal so big it got its own bag”.  Introducing the new Biggie Bag… a Bacon Double Stack, 4 pc. nuggets, small fries and a drink for $5.  The Bacon Double Stack is two beef patties with Applewood smoke bacon, cheese, ketchup, mustard, pickle, and onion.  We reviewed the original Double Stack back when it first debuted. Correction: The “new” Biggie Bag isn’t so new.  It was first promoted for a LTO in March.Wendys Biggie Bag

I recall purchasing a Biggie Bag from my local Wendy’s approx two months ago. Maybe it just happened to be a test market and the Biggie Bag was not yet available everywhere at that point. Anyway, it’s a good value and a worthwhile upgrade to their 4-for-$4 value meal.

Yeah, my mistake… although Wendy’s still says “Introducing…”, the Biggie Bag was new during it’s first LTO run back in March.

Maybe I’m located in a test market? We’ve had these bags here at least two months.

Is Wendy’s coming to Spain and Europe some day ?

So you’re paying a buck for bacon. Not the worst deal if you want it, but the 4 for $4 is kinda unbeatable. Still can NOT believe Wendy’s has kept that around so long. I know drinks and fries cost next to nothing, but still.

I think Culver’s (somehow) got a middling review on this site, but even though most fast food places have abandoned their dollar menu (or reduced it to small/odd items), I still can’t believe the major chains charge about $7-8 for their main burger/fry/drink combo. That’s what Culver’s charges and the difference in quality is insane.

So its the $4 for $4 deal but you get a bacon double stack instead of the JBC or regular double stack? It’s actually a worse deal!
