North Pacific Cod Sandwich is Back at Wendy’s

Wendy’s North Pacific Cod Sandwich is back for another season.   The North Pacific Cod Sandwich features dill pickles and a creamy dill tartar sauce made with pickle relish.  We reviewed it back when it launched in 2015.

Wild caught North Pacific cod filet, crunchy panko breading topped with creamy dill tartar sauce, three dill pickle slices, and lettuce. There may be plenty of fish in the sea, but this is by far the most delicious.  440 calories

Can it compete with Arby’s Crispy Fish, Cajun Fish or King’s Hawaiian Fish Deluxe?

While it is indeed Cod it isn’t a true filet. Too many seemingly loose pieces to be that. IMO the best Cod filet sandwich is from Culvers, although (believe it or not) Dairy Queen has a fairly decent rendition but only if it is cooked to order.
