New Made to Crave Cheeseburgers from Wendy’s

Wendy’s has introduced a trio of cheeseburgers to be a part of the new Made to Crave line-up.  The burgers are headlined by the return of the S’Awesome Bacon Cheeseburger which made its debut late last year.  The trio also includes the Peppercorn Mushroom Melt and Barbecue Cheeseburger.  Here are your Made to Crave burger choices:

  • S’Awesome Bacon Cheeseburger: The fan-favorite is back, adding Wendy’s twist to the beloved bacon cheeseburger (640 calories). Made with fresh, never frozen beef, two slices of American cheese, three strips of sizzling Applewood smoked bacon, iceberg lettuce, sweet onions, pickles, and Wendy’s Side of S’Awesome™ sauce lathered in between a warm and fluffy premium bun. Suggested price $5.29.
  • Peppercorn Mushroom Melt: This sandwich raises the bar on quality, featuring white mushrooms that are grown and handpicked in the U.S., sautéed, fire-roasted and seasoned. Also made with crispy fried onions, a slice of natural Asiago cheese and fresh, never frozen beef, it’s sure to melt taste buds. The Peppercorn Mushroom Melt (690 calories) is topped with a smoked peppercorn aioli, which is made with cracked peppercorn, fresh garlic and has underlying tones of mushrooms, creating a super savory sauce that adds layers of flavor in each bite. Suggested price $5.29.
  • Barbecue Cheeseburger: Wendy’s has long understood what makes barbecue taste so great. Now, the Barbecue Cheeseburger (630 calories) finds that backyard balance of sweet and heat, with a touch of smoke. The cheeseburger is complete with two slices of American cheese, crispy fried onions, three juicy pickles, and fresh, never frozen beef. To top it off, it’s smothered in a sweet and smoky Kansas City-style barbecue sauce that delivers familiar and comforting flavors, making it a top-contender for craveability. Suggested price $4.79.

I had the peppercorn one and not sure if the I got a bad batch of the sauce but it tasted sour. The sandwich was pretty bad. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooo Wooooooooooooooo #bringbackanita

  2. Johnnyboy says:

These are too expensive, should be $4.29. They are only a single patty burger.

  3. Stephen M. says:

I had the barbecue cheeseburger one last week and was pleasantly surprised. Wendy’s does make a tasty burger!

  4. BBB says:

Had the BBQ one yesterday but added bacon for $1. It was one of the best fast food burgers I have ever had. Everything worked great even though I did not get many crispy onions on mine. I hope this becomes permanent!

  5. Emma says:

Can confirm that the BBQ burger is as amazing as everyone says

  6. BigBelly says:

We had the mushroom melt and the bacon cheeseburger, both were pretty good. I’d agree with BBB in that there weren’t many crispy onions on the mushroom melt.
They go for 5.69 for the bacon & 5.89 for the mushroom around here, and at that price point, I don’t believe I will be ordering them again.
