New Triple Breakfast Stacks from McDonald’s

A couple months ago we brought you news of a new McDonald’s breakfast sandwich being tested called McGriddles French Toast.  The McDonald’s breakfast update unfortunately doesn’t include that test item, but a new trio of sandwiches called Triple Breakfast Stacks might make you feel better.  Coming Thursday, November 1st, new Triple Breakfast Stacks will be available for a limited time only.  Triple Breakfast Stacks feature two slices of American cheese between two sausage patties and topped with Applewood smoked bacon and an egg.  Available in your choice of toasted McMuffin, biscuit or McGriddles cakes. Let us know in the comments if you spot Triple Breakfast Stacks on your local McDonald’s menu board early.

McGriddles French Toast didn’t do it for me. Too sweet even compared to the regular McGriddles. These look awesome, but I’m guessing the sandwich alone will be north of 6 bucks.

New? Its just more meat and cheese

This is Taco Bell levels of lazy. Be interesting how they price it relative to the regular sandwiches.

    • Bubbs says:

I don’t really know how “lazy” applies, they’re just giving people a variation of more meat on their very popular breakfast sandwich. It is lazy because they didn’t add another “new & original” item to their already-huge menu, like a breakfast pizza footlong hot dog on a pretzel bun… because *that* would be more energetic and industrious? Lol.

A McDonalds biscuit can’t hold together under a regular sandwich. This will fall apart after the first bite.

    • BBB says:

I had the biscuit one today and it did not hold up well. Plus they put the round egg on it. It definitely goes better with the folded egg. The mcmuffin triple stack was solid and held up well though.
