New American Brewhouse King from Burger King

New to the Burger King menu is the American Brewhouse King, now available for a limited time only.  The new burger features two flame-grilled beef patties, 3 half-strips of thick-cut smoked bacon, crispy onions, tavern sauce, American cheese and mayo on a sesame seed bun.  Recommended price $6.19.In a new ad campaign, Burger King has teamed up with Budweiser for a remake of the “Whassup” commercial.  I guess the effort here is, if you’re 21 and over, the new American Brewhouse King and Budweiser make a good pair.

$6.19 for a BK burger? Isn’t IHOP offering their new burgers for $6.99 with unlimited fries and a drink?

  3. Richard Ginn says:

If Burger King is not going to sell you a beer why are they really attempting this tie-up??

  4. Alex says:

Because Bud is no longer the king of beers and are hard up to re-gain lost market. Kind of make sense they partner up with BK who are no where near what they were in the 80’s and earlier. Two old franchises looking for any relevance.

Wow, that almost sounded business-y…. You either have no idea how BK or InBev (Bud) are performing against their competitors, or no basic business sense, lol.

Do y’all ever have plans on doing reviews anymore?

I tried it today and it was decent. Every couple of bites I’d get a somewhat heavy soy sauce flavor, but it wasn’t a bad combo.
