Ryan does this mean the $1 6″ chili cheese coney promo is over? I thought they said it was for all of January and I was hoping to pick some up tomorrow.

  2. Nathan R says:

I had this recently. Nothing special but if you’re hungry and craving a hot dog It’ll do.

$3.99 to feel absolutely miserable after.

Youve never eaten two hot dogs before? Because that is all that a footlong is. It’s not like some massive gross overkill meal.

      • MP says:

2 hot dogs covered in low-grade chili and cheese, along with a side of greasy fried potatoes? That is certainly a “massive gross overkill” which needs to be consumed only as a once-in-a-while overindulgence treat, not an ordinary meal. Good god, I can’t believe the huge quantities of junk food that people eat in one sitting and consider that to be “normal”. You may not believe it but obesity is seriously bad for your health, not to mention other aspects of your life it will affect.

Thanks MP Captain Obvious. There might have been one person here who didn’t already know that.

        • Really says:

You may not believe it but you’re on a fast food blog and people on here don’t really want to be preached at. We all know to use a little common sense and would rather not be lectured to.

  4. Joe Cool says:

Can never go wrong with 12″ of meat.

  5. Joe K. says:

I’ve never had any Sonic hotdog that wasn’t cold in the middle. They don’t know how to properly cook them, IMO.

  6. MP says:

I like how they decide to add useless fluff to the verbiage in the product description by calling their bun a “bakery bun”…. what hot dog buns don’t come from a bakery?

  7. Junior says:

I wish they would expand their baked potato line. They could do things like Chicken Ranch potato, Chili Cheese potato, etc. All with ingredients found in the stores already.

I know you can buy these items separately and put it together yourself, but it’s such a simple concept it seems crazy not to do it.

Sonic has baked potatoes? Wendy’s used to have different baked potatoes but they stopped doing it a while back. Perhaps it isn’t cost effective.
