    Looks good to me

That’s interesting – two ends of the “value” proposition spectrum today: Wendys $5 for a double burger, chicken nuggets, fries and a soda. Arby’s $6 for a premium sandwich only.
Personally, the Arby’s sandwich sounds more appealing.

  3. Josh M says:

This is essentially a “son of baconator” deluxe for couple bucks cheaper.

Son of baconator combo is $6 + Nuggets $1 = $7 (not including the upcharge to add lettuce and tomato to the sandwich to make it “deluxe”).

It’s pretty good deal from Wendy’s.

I’d still prefer the double stack meal for $4 but I can’t imagine Wendy’s was making any money on those. This still seems like a good deal.

Burger King also has the 2 cheeseburger meal with fries and a drink for $3.49 in my area. With a 10 piece chicken nuggets for $1.49 that’s a decent amount of food for $5+tax.

ehh a burger should be wide and thick.. i dont care for junuor trying to be big when is oenis is smaller then the foreskin… the double deluxe isnt to bad if u get 2 but its alla bout the meat and size.. respect it.. il go sumwre else or make my own…to many idiiots

The JBC has always been my favorite smaller sandwich from the fast food chains, so this definitely intrigues me.

  7. Chris says:

It’s a good deal, but with 10% sales tax, it’s another dollar and a dime. Yes, I’m cheap, and I”m happy with a Hardee’s big burger and a cup of water. With the dollar off coupon on the sandwich whenever possible.

    • MP says:

10% of $5 is not $1.10. But still, the tax would be a moot point considering you’re going to add tax equally to the prices at all the competitors too.

      • Chris says:

$5.50 compared to $4.40 is $1.10. I don’t like paying sales tax in this town because of the awful roads and high crime/slayings. So, yes, I like to eat as cheaply as I can if I’m spending money in Birmingham Alabama. Which is actually a decent town most of the time, but we do pay a premium.

However I went for the wendy’s deal today and they made it a single patty Giant junior. I definitely Won’t be ordering it again, if I have to approach the window to correct things once I’m nearly done with my meal.

Filled me up though. I’ll give them that. but fifty cents tax is a rip-off and I know you fortunate people live where the taxes are less, so good for you.

In Maryland, this will be somehow $6 special or even $6.29!!!

Had this yesterday. To be honest, I think I like the regular JBC better. The bacon from Wendy’s is always on the chewy side, so with double the amount, it makes for a very chewy sandwich. I also thought that the 2 slices of cheese was a bit much; gave it a “stick to your teeth” kind of texture.

Still a great deal though. Wish the 4 for $4 Double Stack meal was still around. Not sure if they even have any 4 for $4 now with this new deal.

Had this today for lunch and it was a great deal. It helped that the bacon was crispy and set the sandwich off. The normal JBC is $2 at my local wendys so for $3 more you get a heartier sandwich with nuggets, fries, and a drink? Sign me up! This is almost as good of a deal as the taco bell cravings deal!

Tried it today, yes it’s bigger than the regular JR, but not by much. But with the 4 for $4, I’m not usually full, and paying $7+ for the other combos always makes me feel stupid for not buying a 4 for $4, so this works for me. But they wouldn’t allow substitutions like with the 4 for $4 where you could switch the nuggets for chili, or fries for baked potato, for a 50 cent upcharge.

I ordered a JBC today and got the Giant JBC. It was a good day.

    “Giant Junior” Bacon Cheeseburger

Or in other words, “Medium Sized” Bacon Cheeseburger, lol

I’d like to have mine with “Biggie Little” fries and a “Large Small” drink.

This is basically the form in which the Big Bacon Classic returns. I’ll take it.

  15. Jonathan Wayne says:

This was actually good, the JBC never seemed right but this brings the right amount of everything to the mix. It’s $3 separately so the $5 combo price is a good deal.
