McDonald’s Introduces Signature Sriracha Burger and Chicken Sandwich

McDonald’s began testing its Signature Sriracha flavor last summer in select markets.  Now a year later, Signature Sriracha is going national with the introduction of the new Signature Sriracha Burger and Signature Sriracha Chicken Sandwich.  Officially slated for the promo push at the end of July, the Signature Sriracha option is starting to become available at McDonald’s locations nationwide. My local McDonald’s in Maryland recently started offering Signature Sriracha to their Signature Crafted Recipes menu as of last week and it’s priced here at $4.99.The Signature Sriracha sandwich includes new Sriracha Big Mac sauce, white cheddar cheese, crispy onions, baby spinach & baby kale and a tomato slice. According to McDonald’s baby kale and baby spinach were “chosen specifically to balance out the spicy sauce while serving as the perfect partner to accompany the other savory ingredients of white cheddar cheese, onions and tomato.” The Signature Sriracha option is available as a burger, Buttermilk Crispy Chicken or Artisan Grilled Chicken and can be topped with either an artisan roll or sesame seed bun.  The Sriracha Mac Sauce is also being advertised as a dipping option for McNuggets.
