Excellent, something new to try for lunch that isn’t obscene on the calories. I love BBQ style sandwiches, but they’re usually huge or loaded down with extra fried items, this should easily fit in the lunch spot without problem, as long as I get the chicken soup instead of the fries.

That sandwich was meh. at best

  3. Bubbsy says:

Hmmmm…. Anybody who has ever gotten that common supermarket co-jack cheese knows exactly how a thick waxy unmelted slice of that will taste and how it will overpower the sandwich – a surprisingly unnecessary and mundane addition to a legendary sandwich. Should use a different cheese if they’re not going to melt it, like a gouda or swiss or provolone.

I’d like to try this with fried chicken, the filet was just like every other grilled fast food chicken— terrible.

Also the cheese was indeed overpowering as Bubbsy was afraid.

    Good bun and sauce though.

I just had one and I thought the best part was the chicken itself. Well salted and nice grilled flavor. The bacon was okay. The cheese got kind of lost though. But it was melted. Overall the regular grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken club are better.

I wish they would make fried chicken pieces like legs, thighs, KFC,I like their batter better than KFC.

Well, of course, but their gimmick is chicken breast fillet sandwiches and probably always will be.

I think it would increase their profits, they should test market it at a few locations,I bet it would sell very well…

I do respect when folks stick with their standards.

There’s a bbq restaurant around here that used to be only ribs and white bread “no slaw, no beans, don’t ask!” they’ve gone mainstream and lost their edge. Also a burger place known for their sauce. Now they are doing “deluxe” burgers (with no sauce). THEY ARE ALL SELLOUTS!

the BBQ sandwich I tried at dress like a cow day was Meh to see the most. But I got to try a free sandwich and I wasn’t going to spend $6 on imitation bar-b-que.

That said, I think CFA doing other chicken would be tasty. And less offensive than when they took cole slaw off the menu.
