Arby’s Brings Back Smokehouse Pork Belly Sandwich and Introduces New Handcrafted Shakes

For a limited time, the Smokehouse Pork Belly Sandwich from Arby’s is back on the menu.  We were first introduced to this sandwich last September alongside the Smoke Mountain Sandwich (review) that is also back on the Arby’s menu.

  • Smokehouse Pork Belly Sandwich: Our Pork Belly is hickory smoked and sliced extra thick, for a more tender style of bacon. Then we layer it with smoked cheddar, BBQ sauce and crispy onions. 860 calories, 61 grams of fat, 23 grams of saturated fat, 1540 milligrams of sodium, 49 grams of carbs, 2 grams of fiber, 13 grams of sugar, and 29 grams of protein
  • Smoke Mountain Sandwich: This is the smokiest sandwich we’ve ever made. 13-hour Smoked brisket, pit-smoked ham, and smoked pork belly topped with smoked cheddar and smoky BBQ sauce. Finally, we top it all off with non- smoked crispy onions and smokeless bun. Because everything in moderation.  820 calories, 49 grams of fat, 19 grams of saturated fat, 2040 milligrams of sodium, 51 grams of carbs, 2 grams of fiber, 15 grams of sugar, and 44 grams of protein

Also featured on the Arby’s menu are new Handcrafted Shakes.

  • Vanilla Shake: You like to keep things simple. You know what you like and why you like it. Your horoscope reads “Today will be nice” every single day. This vanilla shake is for you.
  • Ultimate Chocolate Shake: The indulgent Ultimate Chocolate Shake is made with real, premium Ghirardelli chocolate and drizzled with even more real, premium Ghirardelli chocolate. What we’re saying is Arby’s keeps it real. And premium.
  • Jamocha Shake: Arby’s hand-crafted the Jamocha Shake, there were no other coffee and chocolate shakes in the world. And now, it’s drizzled with real Ghiradelli chocolate. Just another one of Arby’s many contributions to the world of indulgence.

The Orange Cream Shake is also back for a limited time only.

Your days of ice-cream truck chasing are over. Get all the creamy popsicle flavor with none of the drippy, sticky popsicle mess. This shake is the perfect summer treat.

The pork belly LOOKS so good, but I just know in real life it will be a fatty, chewy mess. I fought the urge the last time they had it, we’ll see if I can hold out this time…..

  2. Mike says:

One word – TENDER. Did not have it the first time round and that was my mistake. The belly literally falls apart with wonderful tenderness. I’ll order it next time with more onion strngs, but I’ll still give it a 10.

  3. sortov says:

    Gross chewy bull****

  4. Matt says:

Love the Pork Belly, had it last night, however I’m bummed the Smoked Turkey didn’t get a return this time. I think it got overshadowed by being included with the Pork Belly last time. The Smoke Mountain now has ham, which isn’t as exciting. I liked getting the Smoke Mountain and adding the white BBQ sauce.

  5. Doug says:

You know the pork belly sandwich in reality will never look like it does in the marketing picture.

  7. Joe K. says:

    ” 23 grams of saturated fat ”

    Enough said.

    • Donald Whittemore says:

Saturated Fat = Fat from animals. Did you expect it to not have saturated fat? It’s pork belly!

  8. Steven T says:

Liked the pork belly sandwich. Really wasn’t expecting to. I like arby trying s different menu items instead of some variation on a burger and calling it a new item.

This sandwich needs a review! It’s very divisive. Lots of people either love it or hate it.
