OH man, it’s coming to PA but nowhere really near me. That sucks. This looks tasty!
Arbys has infiltrated my mind. Maybe it was the focus on the meat, the blank white background, the bun. But I knew this was Arbys before reading.
So when will rabbit and squirrel meat be on the menu?
That’s what I want to know, POSSUM burger…..Kangaroo burger and in other parts of the world, BUSH meat burger. Yuck!!! Also maybe in the Applacihaian areas, have other weird meats. ?
Just out of curiosity – why “Yuck”, what is gross about eating possum or kanagaroo?
I meant the yuck for only the BUSH meat, google it when you can, you will know what I mean. It’s crazy stuff.
I actually happen to live in St. Cloud, Minnesota, so I’ll send in pics
BOY this sure is a limited edition product. No store that gets it has for more than a week.
Looks like some product developer is about to get fired…
This is a ripoff. I can’t get fresh Venison for free everyday on the side of the road….sure I have to buy some buns to make a burger, but this is jus wrong selling it when there is so much of it on the side of the roads all across Amurica!
Wow, Arby’s is reinventing themselves.
I hope venison is inspected and tested for disease in the same way as beef.
Nutrition info?
Is this like a bison-burger adjacent product?
I know in the North/Canada that Venison is dirt cheap – so $5 for a meat sandwich is right in line.
I haven’t had venison in over 20 years. Is a “thick cut steak” tender enough to slap on a bun and eat with no issues? You’d never do that with a beef steak. That’s why we use ground meat for hamburgers and steak knives to cut our steaks. This sandwich just seems odd. But, as I said, I haven’t had venison in 20 years and cows and deer are obviously different animals. Any venison fans have any thoughts?
Still debating trying it when it is available, I guess I will.
Yeccch!!
I’ve had some okay venison stuff before, but this nearly made me ralph just looking at it. Arby’s doesn’t even have a grill. GAH I need to go click on something else.
Ummmm, I don’t even know where to begin about a fast food joint putting a whole venison baseball steak filet on a sandwich roll…. guess I’ll hold my tongue until someone tries it and discovers it’s actually tender and juicy, or at least palatable? Strange.
It’s rare enough that a fast food place would put a thick-cut cow steak into a sandwich, much less jumping all the way to venison.
Are quail nuggets next? I don’t think people are ready for this.
I wonder when Arby’s or someone else comes out with a Gator Burger in the Florida areas, it does look like chicken. But it would be like $20 for a burger because the price of alligator meat. And then maybe in the Midwest area….they may come out with a Rattlesnake burger. LOL! But too risky!
Gag me with a spoon.
There’s an over abundance of deer in this country……ruining crops and hurting farmers everywhere…….so where do they get the meat from?? New Zealand……… Good job Arby’s……
If they ground it into a burger patty or sliced it on their deli slicers like the roast beef it might work. As is there is no way someone can bite through any steak that thick and venison is not known for being super tender.
