No deal, put it back to 5 and I’ll MAYBE go back when I’m desperate.

Does anyone know which subs are the “classic” ones? I though it was just the cheap ones like cold cut trio. But the graphic posted here shows chunk chicken breast.

I saw the Chicken Bacon Ranch on the website, I’m guessing they’re throwing in all subs that aren’t like the $8.50 cheesesteaks and such. In that case, not a bad deal, at least for a few of the sandwiches.

I had not been to Subway in a good 3-4 years until last Friday. A footlong turkey with chips and a drink set me back $10 plus tax. I can say in all honesty that I could get a similar sandwich at any gas station for a better price. The quality of turkey was a shame for the $7.50 price tag attached to the sandwich. I will probably return in 3-4 years.

If they brought the $5 footlongs back, I MIGHT, MIGHT return to Subway once or twice, but over that pricepoint and it’s just not worth it at all. Heck, even $5 isn’t worth their bready sandwiches, but for $5 I might go back for the reminder that I had liked them in the past.

I guess sales finally got too bad. So is this a limited time price?

    The Jared Apology deal, basically.

Eh, I gave Subway a chance after not going there for about a year and they screwed me. They had that double meat promotion or something like that for 50% more and somehow the person making it screwed me and “accidentally” added more and somehow I ended up being charged double. I normally would have walked away but I was hungry and already there so I just paid it, but I won’t be back. I think I was supposed to pay $7 but it ended up being more like almost $10.

There are already several classic footlongs that are $5.50 on the menu. Is this a sneaky price increase?

Time to use my BOGO coupons, 2 subs and a 30oz drink for about $8 works for me. To the guy above classic subs include Steak&Cheese, Chicken Bacon Ranch etc.. you just can’t get the premium subs such as the Big Philly (Basically a double meat and cheese Steak&Cheese) None of the meats at Subway are very impressive, however if you find a Subway that actually has fresh veggies like one location near me it’s not bad if you like a loaded sub. Mine’s usually pretty hefty after they put the works on it.

Why would anyone go to Subway still? Do people not realize places like witch Which and Jersey Mikes, and Pot Belly etc aren’t around? Who would put this kind of stuff in their bodies.
