I know you can order a pint or whatever of gravy on the side for like $3, but I wish you could instead get just a little side cup serving of gravy for a reasonable upgrade price (like $.50) for dipping of fries and/or chicken.

Man I love Popeyes, but when they start rolling out these monthly specials hard during the middle of the year I feel like I’m getting the -itis too often

At 3.99 I’ll give it a try. If it was 4.99, I’d probably pass.

All these Popeye’s specials taste the same. Sorry.

I don’t know how that could be, you’re obviously going to have a much juicier & meaty taste with these fat little hunks… vs the dry & chewy narrow strips. And aside from variations in the light seasoning that goes into the breading in some LTOs, the specials also introduce heaps of new sauces… I’d hardly think that the new orange sauce tastes like cajun ranch.

Does it really matter? Their chicken is good and their biscuits are fantastic. Not only that, the price is right. I don’t even bother with the sauces most of the time, and despite what you might think, do taste differently.

Had this tonight. I didn’t notice anything crazy with the marinade, but I also forgot to try the chicken by itself. The sauce was pretty dang tasty though. I chose to get the red beans and rice as my side and they were delicious as usual.
