New GranDDe Burrito from Dunkin’ Donuts

GrubGrade reader Paul sent me over a picture of something new at a Dunkin’ Donuts in Billerica, MA.  It’s the new GranDDe Burrito.  The New England area usually gets the test market products first, but we’ll keep you posted if a national release on the way.Grandde

Well this surely will be disgusting as all their other breakfast sandwiches..i’m sure they’re frozen and just nuked in the microwave. DD could really be a game changer if they upped the quality. They already have passable breads, if they just used a real egg and some decent quality sausage/bacon, they’d be great. But i’m guessing the biggest issue is lack of equipment in their stores

They don’t even make their own donuts in-store, they sure as heck aren’t gonna cook their own meats or eggs. So you’re right, this will be gross.

Dunkin’ Donuts stopped being a food place since the late 90s when they ceased baking donuts in-store. Now they’re just decent drive-thru coffee in the morning. I remember as a kid/early-teen stopping by before school and getting fresh donuts. Now, they’re kind of stale even when they first open. DD won’t up their quality at this point.

They are all about the money, trying to expand and double store locations just like Subway. Now Subway is suffering with better subs from Firehouse, Jersey Mike’s and Jimmy Johns for better pricing too. Soon Krispy Kreme and Starbucks will kick Dunkin’s out.

Right on point. All their foods are frozen and thawed and nuked. They have some of the most expensive breakfast sandwiches too. I used to get their BIG and TOASTY because it had bacon, but the meal costs like $6.41 or something like that.

It’s “Big and Toased” and yea it’s more expensive because it’s double bacon and double egg. That sandwich is freaking massive haha. The other sanwiches are a little cheaper.

Is that the same Dunkin Donuts in Billerica that has soft-serve ice cream? I love their coolatta floats.

I used to be excited to go back home to the East Coast and have a DD donut. But now? Screw that. They don’t even make them fresh in store anymore. They are stale, disgusting reminders of what that chain used to be about. It’s an insult to the memory of the great Michael Vale.
