I’m not a huge fan of the “base model” Hardees patty, but I am a huge fan of “special sauce” and putting TWO slices of cheese on a double cheeseburger. I think ordering this plus one swiss could be a real winnah.

Had one today and I liked it both for taste and value. Sauce is a nice addition and the size was not expected but appreciated. Its a keeper for me.

Hardees has the best prices for FF. It this was a Wendy’s promotion the cost for the sandwich alone would be about $5.

This is basically the Carl’s Jr California Classic burger rebranded: http://www.bahamaslocal.com/files/CarlsCaliforniaClassic.jpg

Minus the tomato and onions, this burger looks like an “attempt” to revive their classic “Big Twin” of years past. Definitely on my to eat list, but I doubt (know) their current flame tunnel cooking cannot touch their classic air grilling of the past. A shame.

I tried it. Luke warm meat patties with no grilled flavor; about a teaspoon of grilled onions; a mushy slice of tomato; fresh lettuce, and the dressing with a bun that fell apart after a couple of bites. My grade 3/10 points.

It was one of the blandest burgers I’ve had, thousand island dressing appeared to be watered down, horrible lettuce, a real disappointment.

$2.50 for fries & a drink factored in the combo meal? I’d rather have a 2nd burger; tho I’ve save it for later. Much better value, plus two meals.
