I have had two of these and so far… It’s pretty cheesy but the first one I had… Oh man, was the best built burger I had ever had from them.

Had it! Like Day One they rolled it out, a few days ago. Pretty tasty, but the burger patty was odd – I ordered the 1/3-pound patty but I got a strange, very thin, almost “pounded out” patty. Thin and hung out around the bun. Thinnest patty I’ve ever seen at Hardees, but larger than their “small & cheap” burger offerings. Also, and this was kinda gross, I looked at the bottom of the patty and there were LOTS of artery or vein “ends” poking out the bottom. More like on a really low-grade grill it yourself patty you might buy in bulk at a cheapo grocery store. I actually wondered if they had run out of Hardees pattys and maybe they had run down the street to Price Chopper to buy some, as it was near the close of business. Kind of a turnoff!

I’m guessing they gave you the Grass Fed Patty. A while ago I had it by itself and it was thin and stuck out of the bun. It wasn’t the best experience for me either when I had it.

Sounds like you got the “All-Natural” beef patty. At my Hardees this burger is available as a 1/3 pound thickburger, or a single or double all natural burger.

So this is basically their take on the Jack in the box “brewhouse burger”.
