Hardee’s now has a sign that says “charbroiled-to-order”. So doesn’t that mean that they in fact charbroil the burgers right there like at BK?

Had this today Bacon jam is gross

  3. BigBelly says:

    molassesto sounds dirty! LOL

Looks like the bacon jam is going to sog up the bacon strips, sounds somewhat good though.

They should call it the New SODIUM 3-Way Burger from Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s! 😉

But they do have a great hamburger and I would eat it any chance I am near a Hardee’s, but Roy Rogers has the best burger I think!

  5. Matt Brown says:

Maybe this has been explained before but why on earth does the Hardee’s nutritional information vary so much from Carl’s Jr? Those are some pretty significant differences between the two for this burger

    • BigBelly says:

I recall reading that it may be due to different suppliers for the two chains

      • Bubbsy says:

It would seen that the same sandwich ingredients even from a different supplier (tomatoes, cheese, etc) would not account for that level of nutrition difference. A slice of processed cheese is going to be pretty much the same from whatever supplier they’ve approved. Those nutrition facts are not for the same sandwich that simply got their beef from a different meatpacker, they must actually be different sandwiches (size of patty, something)

    • JF says:

The Carl’s Jr. nutritional information is based on the 1/4 pound burger whereas the Hardee’s version is based on the 1/3 pound burger. Respectively they differ around 10 calories.

  6. Joe Kirkpatrick says:

Hardee’s burgers are pre-cooked from the vendor and then frozen before they are delivered to the stores. All the restaurant does is shoot them through a ‘flame tunnel’. “Charbroiled-to-order” my a**.
