New Angriest Whopper with Red Bun from Burger King

The Angry Whopper from Burger King is becoming even angrier when the new Angriest Whopper hits restaurants on Thursday, March 31st.  BK introduced a Whopper with a black bun last fall and this time it’s a red bun. Angriest Whopper

The Angriest Whopper features a flame-grilled beef patty, thick-cut bacon, American cheese, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, crispy onion petals, jalapenos, mayo and spicy angry sauce between a red bun that has hot sauce baked in.  The Angriest Whopper will be available for a limited time only at participating Burger King locations and has a suggested price of $5.49 or $7.49 in a combo meal with small drink and fries.

I can finally use this $5 BK GC on my favorite burger from BK!

The best thing BK has had in years is the Angry Tendercrisp. The last few times they’ve had the Angry Whopper only, though… time to see if I can work my charms on any of the idiot teens!

Err. For food. Not anything else.

I see this as an October Item not a March/April Item imo…

  4. B says:

Just make the angry whopper a permanent item already.

…or better yet, just work on making the original Whopper as good as it once was, and there would be no need for these gimmicks.

/Not that I don’t mind a little spice added to my burger from time to time.
//…but it does me no good when the basic foundation is a pathetic shadow of it’s former self.

This and the Whiplash Whopper were the ONLY good menu items at BK. I do miss the Whiplash with the deep fried dried red peppers. Stuff was good. lol

Was available today at a BK in Seaside, OR. My boyfriend tried it and was quite underwhelmed. He thought it was very one-dimensional, tasting heavily of hot sauce, which masked the flavors from the other ingredients. He also said that the jalepenos provided a tiny bit of heat but not as much as he wanted.

Burger King is getting more expensive than Wendy’s! Hell, for a dollar more, Ruby Tuesday or Texas Roadhouse, etc is a better option.
