Naked Crispy Chicken Chalupa from Taco Bell

Taco Bell started testing the Naked Crispy Chicken Taco last year.  Basically the taco shell is made of chicken.  We haven’t seen a national release just yet, but here’s a look at an extension of the brand with the new Naked Crispy Chicken Chalupa.  The Naked Crispy Chicken Chalupa was found at a Taco Bell in Lawrence, Kansas by @plooneytunes on Twitter.  I’m not sure if this is just a rebranding of the taco, or the item has changed to be more “chalupa-like”.  If you’ve come across the Naked Crispy Chicken Chalupa, leave a comment with your impressions.Naked Crispy Chicken Chalupa from Taco Bell

I just hope it won’t be a Letdown like the quesalupa. And I hope it is not too expensive. Maybe $2.49 at the most or $2.99 max.

I agree that the quesalupa was a major let down. They amped this thing up so much and I wouldn’t give it more than a 6 or a 7. I even tried it numerous times to give it a chance. I don’t see how it stays on the permanent menu.

I thought it was ok..I’d eat it again IF I could find calorie count on it anywhere! Can’t even find it on Taco Bell website!!!! I found it at the Taco Bell in Lee’s Summit, MO on Chipman Road.

So……what’d it say?!?! Was the breaded, salted, and deep fried slab of meat that was stuffed with processed cheese and sour cream from the fast food place good for us? I’m dying to know……..

I found it in Blue Springs, Mo. I thought it was fabulous. I’ve already had it twice. Its a little spicy but delicious. I’m excited that they are finally using something a little lower in carbs.
