    I for one am happy everyone is doing these “x for $x” deals.

    Sometimes things get confusing but this makes it fun and easy.

  2. Snackeroo says:

    Where I live, SF Bay Area, this promotion is 2 for $2.50.

  3. Jay Melo says:

    Has anybody had this yet? I want to know if you can get 2 sandwiches or does it have to be a sandwich and a side item?

    • James says:

      Yes you can get 2 sandwiches, and you can even get 2 of the same items. I got 2 McDoubles the other day using this promotion.

    • Dank meme bro says:

      I think it can be 2 sandwiches, basically think of it as a dollar menu except you have to get 2 things.

    • Robert says:

      pretty sure it’s the latter.

    • Sheila says:

      At least around where I live (SF Bay Area), it seems like you can get 2 of any of the choices, even 2 of the same. In our area, another option is 4 piece nuggets. But here the promo costs $2.50 for 2 choices, not $2. It’s still cheaper overall, since the McChicken and McDouble are both $1.29 or $1.39 each by themselves, and mozzarella sticks are $1.49.

    • Thistle says:

      Other sites are reporting that you can get two of the same thing, so two sandwiches should be fine.

    • Blousey says:

      Alright people, the 2 for $2 promotion is pretty straightforward. You’d have to actually bend yourself into a pretzel trying to believe that the promo is anything *but* “pick any 2 items for $2”.
      “But wait, do I have to go through the drive-thru or can I dine in? Can anyone tell me if this promo is only on Tuesdays or can I get it on Monday too? What if I want large fry instead, do I have to pay extra?”

  4. Steven says:

    I would assume you could do two sandwiches. I wonder what the pricing will be here in Alaska as the McChicken was previously $2 and McDouble $2.25. Could be a good deal if it’s priced reasonably here.

  5. JJJ says:

    I got the McDouble and 3 piece mozza sticks, went home, tasted the marinara once, threw it in the trash, put the cheese sticks in between the two burger patties, and nuked it for 40 seconds to make it nice and melty. Not bad.

  6. Jake says:

    2 for $3 in Manhattan, along with multiple “Dollar Menu & More” price increases on my other favorite items…these are just more price increases, yet again, disguised as a promotion, including a 30% price increase on one of my favorite items, the mozzarella sticks. McDonald’s continues to disappoint me.

    I will continue to take advantage of the excellent 4 for $4 promotion at Wendy’s locations in NYC (no premiums on that promotion here).

    Mcdonalds here in Santa Barbara Ca not doing this yet

  8. Dennis says:

    You can buy 2 of any item for $2. But if you buy 2 sandwiches and want just one small fries they will charge you the regular price for the fries.

  9. SPM79 says:

    Not a huge fan of McDonald’s food but this isn’t a bad deal.

  10. Bubbs says:

    @tonysatch : “makes it fun” ? lol

    @JayMelo : You pick 2 items from the 2 for $2 menu for $2.

    so glad we have the spicy mcchickens here instead of those bland regular ones. Only thing is you generally have to wipe off most of the mayo they slather on these sandwiches. Most places put too much on

  12. brian says:

    went through the drive thru and I told them specifically about this promotion and they even had it on the drive thru menu, and was charged full price for 2 mcdoubles.. wow….

  13. s s says:

    Stupid mcdonalds is false advertising! The mcds in the south requires one sandwich + one side item. So they will not allow two sandwiches. Any item for $2 should mean ANY ITEM! Don’t let Mickey D’s fool you with a “good deal”!!
