I wanted this to be good. It was not. Not any crispness or flavor at all, which was not terribly surprising, but I had hope! It was more like a rubbery, textured, floppy mess. I’ll take any of their other bread options!

A lost of people don’t know – everything for breakfast sandwiches, including even the egg patties and bacon, etc, are pre-cooked and brought in on a truck to be nuked in the microwave. I understood the decision to stop making fresh donuts and baked goods in-store, but to not even fry an fresh egg? I don’t understand why they don’t just convert to a giant vending machine.

My local Dunkin is also offering a Chicken n’ Waffles Sandwich alongside the breakfast sandwich. Just their typical chicken patty between two waffles. No syrup as far as I could see.

I found the waffle to be sweet, yet somehow tasteless at the same time. The texture of the waffle was soft and it means and crumbled easily. It did not hold up to the egg and cheese filling. I would not order it again.
