Oh god yes. I love taco bells fire sauce, it’s like crack to me. I put it on everything mexican. Can’t wait to try the diablo sauce!

    Yo quiero

  3. GMoney says:

Saw Fire sauce and others in a grocery store yesterday.

So is this the fabled Lava sauce you guys are always crying about or is this something different? My personal sauce I wish they would bring back is the Fire Roasted Border Salsa, that was good.

    • MP says:

They charged like 50 cents for half a small cup of Lava sauce since it had cheese & mayo in it. Doubt this is it, sadly.
“The sauce, which will only be available for a limited time, is made with a variety of peppers, including aji panca, chipotle and chili, according to Taco Bell spokeswoman Ashley Sioson”

    FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!

I have been wanting a hotter sauce packet from Taco Bell for YEARS! I was on the verge of E-mailing them to suggest a hotter sauce. My idea was to call it GHOST because it would use ghost pepper and the packets would be white. And even thought that they should keep it behind the counter it would be so hot, you would have to ask for it.

Yay, another gringo spicy sauce. Taco Bell’s hyping this up and 10:1 it’ll be yet another mild sauce on their menu.

And before all the white people freak out because I said gringo, I’m white. Good day.

  7. Bob says:

I just hope they don’t muck it up by adding unnecessary sugar to it like they do with some of their other sauces.

  8. GMoney says:

Green Verde sauce is my fav.

  9. Joan says:

Yah, all their “hot” sauces are actually mild.. To me. my 28 yr old husband CANT eat their “hot” brand of sauce, too spicy for him. However, my 6 yr old daughter eats the hot sauce packets by themselves when im not looking. She literally uses her teeth to open packets and DRINKS them when Im ordering our meal. I tell her they’re spose to be a sauce, not an appetizer- all she says it “but its yummy!” really this kid loves all food. So im not too shocked. I just think its funny she’s eating TB sauce packets.

Personally cant wait to try the Diablo sauce. Gonna have to keep an eye on the kid and the sauce station though.

This is literally the best fast food sauce thats out there, chick fil a excluded. Defintely the best of the hot sauces. It’s very tasty and actually has a kick to it. Really hope it’s not for a limited time only

Really good sauce (much better flavor than any of their past and current offerings), but lacking in heat for probably even the average heat seeker. My mom choked and coughed on it when I let her taste it, but her heat tolerance is VERY low — I didn’t even reach for water. It is spicier than fire though (which doesn’t register any heat at all for me). The lack of big heat in Diablo can be forgiven because of its great flavor — can’t wait to try it on different taco bell items.

I justvhadvsome of this Diablo sauce last night at taco Bell. I put a bit of it on my nachos grande and another whole packet on my crunch wrap supreme. It was absolutely delicious, much better than fire or the other sauces that are offered in terms of the heat scale. When I first tasted it, it was about sweet and even had the appearance of a watery marinara sauce. Any sweetness was quickly replaced by a pleasant scorching feeling in my mouth and throat, with little to no bad aftertaste and not needing to reach for a drink made this sauce an instant winner in my opinion. Has anyone else had the same experience with it though as far as the marinara part is concerned? I may just be crazy but I’d like to know if there are others out there that arrived at the same conclusion as I did. Let me know, I’ll be waiting to hear from you awesome people! 😉

Finally was able to try the Diablo sauce over the weekend. On my first item I used one packet and on the second I used two. To me there was no flavor at all, just heat. I think the Chipotle Sauce (found on the quesarito) actually has more heat and way more flavor.

    • Andrew S. says:

I agree CB about the heat of it. The Diablo sauce reminds me more of a type of spicy marinara sauce. Is that how you would describe it as? I think the “Diablo” title is misleading as it isn’t even as “hot” as some of their other sauces. At least it’s still better than the gritty salsa Verde sauce I tried awhile back. All in all I’d still give the Diablo sauce 4/5. It loses a point for not being as spicy as the name and taco Bell suggests it is.

Sadly it seems to be gone now! As of a week ago or so. I found this sauce definitely hotter than their other sauces. Diablo was great, enough spice to make me sweat a little and good flavor. It actually got me to eat Taco Bell tacos again. Now I have to settle for getting Fire Sauce, but at least I still have some Diablo in the fridge.
