Starbucks Offering New Tiramisu Latte

Starbucks has brought back the Caramel Flan Latte and introduced the new Tiramisu Latte.  The Caramel Flan Latte features espresso, steamed milk, caramel-infused cream and a caramelized sugar drizzle.  The new Tiramisu Latte is made with espresso, steamed milk, mascarpone flavor and a dusting of cocoa powder.  Customers can order the lattes hot, iced or as a blended Frappuccino.  Available for a limited time only.

As a non-coffee drinker but a frappucino lover, I wonder if I can talk my barista into adding the mascarpone flavor into my strawberry frapp? Hoping it would come out like a strawberry cheesecake flavor!

I just don’t get the appeal of Starbucks at all.

I tried this today, and it was OK. I might get one again. It was exactly what is described, but I guess I was hoping for a tad more of the mascarpone flavor to come through. Maybe I just need an extra pump of that next time.

You cannot order it iced. You can order an iced coffee with the syrup in it but it tastes awful.

Just had the Tiramisu Latte and it was pretty good.

Why they don’t serve the actual tiramisu dessert in the refrigerated case?

I had the tiramisu frappuccino yesterday and they asked me if I wanted cocoa powder on it and I initially declined. I tasted it and it tasted pretty good, so I figured that in order to get the full tiramisu experience, I’d try some powder (which they have available as self-serve over by the lids and napkins.) That was a big mistake. I had no idea how much flavor that cocoa powder had. I shook what I thought was a light amount onto it and the flavor completely overpowered the entire drink to the point that you couldn’t taste anything but the powder. I’ll certainly get the drink again, but I’ll be sure not to put any powder on it.
