    Why not on Spicy Chicken..

  2. Bryan K. says:

That sounds damn good. I hope they roll that out nationwide, and I second Richard on that. Why not on the spicy chicken too?

  3. raiders757 says:

This somewhat decent, but I have to question if one would be able to even taste the burger through all the bacon and toppings. One would think something like this would benefit from a 1/3 lb. patty or larger.

  4. Proud New Mexican says:

POBLANO???!?? Lol Wendy’s, that’s not green chile!

    • Bryan K. says:

I just noticed that too, a poblano pepper and a green chile pepper taste and look completely different. Interestingly and as crazy as this may sound they’re actually the same species of pepper but just cultivated in a different way to produce a different pepper… so with that being said, using a poblano but yet calling it a green chile burger is kinda cheating but not really. Just for reference that species also includes jalepeno, bell pepper, serrano and others. So you can have quite a variety in the same species of pepper depending on how and where it is grown.

      • Ahecht says:

Yes, and cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, and mustard are all the same species. So are Chihuahuas and German Shepherds. That doesn’t mean they’re the same.

  5. Snackeroo says:

    That burger looks delicious.

  6. Mark says:

The salsa verde is the green chile component.

  7. Jonathan Wayne says:

    Sounds alright.

  8. Ric says:

Haven’t been to Wendy’s in almost 2 years but I will definitely try this if they bring it out here. I almost caved for the BBQ pulled pork but so far haven’t gone.

  9. Proud New Mexican says:

The people here are claiming that this is green chile clearly have no idea what green chile is, or what Wendy’s is trying to copy. Google it. This is not green chile. This is false advertising… fraud even.

    • Damn New Mexicans says:

From been born in NM and still having family there, I’m not surprised one of you left this comment. You guys sure love your green chile!

  10. BigBelly says:

Still haven’t seen any tv ads for it here

  11. BigBelly says:

The closest Wendys is all torn apart right now, so I called the one in Elk Grove Saturday, she said they would have it on Monday 10/26

  12. Popwar says:

I had this today with a Homestyle chicken filet , pretty damn good . Different from any thing ive had from Wendys. Not too spicy but just right to make your nose run.
