If these were around five years ago, the overwhelmed college freshman version of me who lived across the street from Checkers would’ve loved then

Did the 2 for deal on these sandwiches today. In my area it was 2 for 5, both sandwiches were great. The fish had that peppery checkers fried food seasoning taste that is so great. However I think they messed up and put the new pickle fries(which are part of this LTO) they are doing on my fish sandwich. I didn’t mind, considering I like pickle and fried fish, just wasn’t expecting it. On the chicken it could have used more ranch and fried pickles.

I’m assuming at 2 for $5 you got the doubles, and if not you probably got wrongly charged for the doubles. I’m not a fried pickles guy, or a pickles guy in general, bit I am the biggest fan of Rally’s spicy chicken here, so I’ll probably try it.

No 2 for 5 was for the singles. I’m assuming the New Jersey market has a higher price point for whatever reason.

Sandwiches look fine but what an awful ad. Looks like a pack of smokes saying “screw it.” I’ll pass just on the ad alone.

I went to my local checkers and this wasn’t on the board :-(. It’s also the worse place in the world. Perhaps next week…

Tried the southern spicy chicken yesterday and found it very disappointing. The fried pickles just threw the texture of the spicy chicken off and made it just feel slimy and nasty. The regular spicy chicken is my favorite thing to get at Checkers, so I’ll just be going back to that.

The southern chicken is good. The pickles throw off the taste due to it being fried. I recommend having the pickles removed

i thought I was getting fried jalapeños on it. I just about barfed. Three the sandwich away.
