New Breakfast Quesalupa from Taco Bell Testing in Ohio
GrubGrade reader Josh sent us the Quesalupa menu pic when it started testing in January and the latest update is the new Breakfast Quesalupa. The Breakfast Quesalupa is testing in Toledo, Ohio and features eggs, cheese and your choice of sausage or bacon in a Chalupa-like shell stuffed with Pepper Jack cheese. Priced at $3.49 during breakfast hours.
Have they released the quesolupa in general? I haven’t seen it. Are they trying to release them at the same time? I know the quesolupa has pepper jack cheese in the shell itself, but haven’t seen it around me. Why not release the lunch version nation wide first?
Really. Why not let us all try the lunch/dinner version before branching out to breakfast tests?
At $3.49, hopefully this breakfast quesalupa is packed with filling. I tried a regular quesalupa and found it lacking in meat… think it had one scoop of beef, the same as a taco, albeit for 50 cents less.
This will be far better than the biscuit and makes a lot of sense. Gorita shells are woefully underused.
TB today told me today they discontinued the baja sauce. So Cheesy Gordita Crunches are now dry. Christ. I am so sick of the games they play with their menu.
The baja sauce on those has been replaced with a spicy ranch sauce according to the mobile app.
They now offer it with Spicy Ranch, which isn’t the same but is passable.
Baja sauce is gone?! Ugh, that was the only sauce I liked at Taco Bell. So lame!
I would TOTALLY eat that!
