The cookie butter shake does sound good. Burger King should do the same thing and they will be popular.

Is this place any good? They just put one in on my way to work and on Yelp it’s getting blasted. Was wondering if I should stop and give it a shot. They also put a Shake Shack in Baltimore, wonder if they are similar.

Steak and Shake is pretty good, especially for the money, you can get a decent meal for $4 to $5. They are great to go to late at night if you want some real food. I usually go to them when I am traveling as they are usually next to the hotels I stay in.

Shake Shack is totally different. It is more in line with like Five Guys, Chick fil A, etc. If you go, try the shroom burger, man it is so good.

I had it last night. It’s 8:08 am and I’m up craving another!

Get the Frisco Melt, it’s great. It’s definitely better beef than typical fast food but the burger patties are not huge. S&S is just slow, kinda messy & can get pricey. I usually use the drive thru, which is a lot faster than sitting down & being waited on.

    Why not a Sriracha milkshake?

I’ve never heard of a “steak shack” but I would imagine they are completely different and not related at all.

Steak and shake is good if you like burgers the way they do it or if you like shakes.

S&S is like a fast-food diner (sort of like Frisch’s) with good fries, good burgers, usually fresh ingredients, a big menu, and cheap!

I think they actually fry raw meat for their burgers but I’m not sure. I suggest you try their most basic things. Get a double cheeseburger with fries for 3.99 in most places, and add a shake for a couple extra bucks.

They have servers inside, so give em a tip if you eat in. The food comes fast.

Just for clarity, SnS does not fry their hamburger meat. They take the meat, put it on a flat top grill and press it flat, resulting in a nice, crispy sear. It’s the same process Culver’s uses, only Culver’s uses a better meat, imo. Still, as far as fast food burgers go, you can’t do much better.

I just had the cookie butter milkshake. Super sweet but delicious! Tastes exactly the speculous spread.
