New Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich from McDonald’s

McDonald’s has given its grilled chicken a bit of a makeover in the form of the new Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich.

Artisan Grilled Chicken McDonalds Priced at $4.59 at my local McDonald’s in Maryland, the Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich uses the same “artisan” roll found on the delicious Bacon Clubhouse Burger.

McDonald’s describes the new Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich like this:

100% grilled chicken breast filet seasoned to perfection with ingredients like salt, garlic and parsley – seared in our kitchens, no preservatives added. Crisp leaf lettuce, fresh tomato, and a vinaigrette dressing. All atop our delectable artisan roll.

The 7.2oz sandwich clocks in at 360 calories, 6 grams of fat, and a hearty 32 grams of protein.  Here’s a look at my Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich… review coming soon.

It actually looks decent. Here’s hoping it tastes good.

I thought it looked decent too. But don’t believe it. It was awful. First off it is not a breast filet. It was processed chicken. It was way over seasoned and salty. Not good at all.

It looks good, I would loved to have tried this yesterday when I was at the McDonald’s right next to the McDonald’s headquarters in Chicago yesterday, but that sad McDonald’s literally has no new or unique items on the menu there. I went there thinking I would find all sorts of new and exciting menu items there that were nowhere else that I could try and I got nothing but a bunch of empty suits.

Why would you assume there would be any differences, let alone “lots”? Set yourself up for dissapointment any thoughtful person would have seen coming.

Yeah, why the hell would anyone think that the McDonald’s 100ft from the world headquarters have anything different, the one that is frequented by all the executives and workers? I mean that’s just crazy to think that would happen. Even the one in downtown Chicago is much cooler than this one. I mean why would anyone think that the McDonald’s steps away from the headquarters of one of the biggest fast food restaurants in the world would have a showpiece McDonald’s restaurant that had several different test items for people to try or their execs and workers to eat and form an opinion of? Maybe that’s why their sales are tanking, just maybe…

    This looks good.

by the way, Wendy’s just came out today with a ghost pepper chicken sandwich with jalapenos. I just ate it, and it was excellent

Agreed with the others, this actually looks pretty decent. I would give it a try. Not sure why grilled chicken is so hard to do for fast food places, none of them really make a decent one, even Chik Fil A’s isn’t that great

@ Ray- This is a breast- it is NOT processed- I don’t have anything to do with McDonalds but I will say this sandwich is delicious. Finally something good from this place!
