I need this in my life.

  2. Esther says:

    I gotta try this

  3. Steve says:

I love bacon, but I wont be trying this. Im not sure theres ANYTHING to Little Sleazers could do to get me to try their bottom of the barrel cheap as dirt pizza. I mean, theyre worse than crappy frozen pizzas like Tonys. No thanks, LC, but keep trying

    • Robert says:

Their pan is fantastic. Have you even tried it?! Tony’s doesn’t even use real cheese!

    • Sascha says:

Completely disagree with you, Steve. While LC is certainly not atop the pizza chain (To me, that’s Jets, followed by Hungry Howies), they are worlds better than Domino’s, while Papa John’s doesn’t even deserve to be in the conversation. Pizza Hut has improved enough recently to be level or a bit above Little Caesar’s, but one thing I still like at LC is the cheese. The 2 parts mozarella, 1 part Muenster combo is just awesome. And these deep dish pizzas from LC are also better than the round ones.

      • rodney says:

LC’s is ok enough for the price, providing you eat it right away, after about 15 or 20 minutes, it’s pretty much inedible.

      • MP says:

I find zero difference in taste of square vs round. It’s just the same too much puffed up bread, thin layer of cheese & sauce; just like Jets. Also I boycott LC since they’re owned by the Ilitch family & whom own the rival Detroit Tigers & Red Wings.

    • Aaron says:

While I agree it’s not the best in the world saying its worse than Tony’s frozen pizza is just stupid. It’s a decent pizza for the price.

  4. Snackeroo says:

Damn this looks pretty delicious, and dangerous.

  5. Will says:

I like their deep dish, but jumping from $8 to $12 for what looks like some thin scraps of bacon mashed into the crust doesn’t sound worth it.

  6. Pimousse says:

Also worth mentioning: It has bacon as a topping. 😉 So.. it’s a pepperoni AND bacon, bacon crusted pizza.

  7. Alex K says:

Could be good. I’m sure they’ll use flimsy microwaveable bacon instead of “real”, thick bacon, but I might try it anyway.

  8. Craig Russell says:

Was in my LC here in Grand Rapids, Michigan…LC’s home state. Already had the Bacon wrapped Deep dish…started selling it yesterday…kid behind the counter told me it was amazing…going to get one this weekend…

  9. JP says:

will they let you pay extra to get it in the $5 combo?

  10. Yum Yucky says:

I totally love their pretzel pizza, but I haven’t even tried their deep dish WITHOUT the bacon yet. I better hurry and get up to speed.

  11. scram says:

Has anyone ever tried Jets Pizza? I’ve been hearing their deep dish is really good, and I might give it a go this weekend. Any suggestions about their menu would be appreciated!

    • Jonathan Wayne says:

Jet’s is basically less crappy Little Caesars. If LC was a Chevy, Jet’s would be a Buick. I’ve only had it with ham or pepperoni and pineapple and it was okay so that’s my only recommendation to you, maybe add mushrooms.

  12. Craig Russell says:

Jets is AWESOME! Way better deep dish than Little Ceasers. INHO. I live 1 1/2 miles from both, and Id pick Jets anytime. The LC bacon pizza looks amazing, but day to day Id go with Jets. And they make a great BBQ Chicken pizza too if you like that sort of thing.

  13. Jonathan Wayne says:

Little Caesars is absolute garbage, it should not even be considered pizza and I have eaten it enough over the decades that I can make that statement with authority. The worst is if you leave it overnight, then you can really see that it’s nothing but processed trash. Once you have pizza in NYC, you don’t want pizza from anywhere else, I basically avoid eating anything but NYC pizza unless there is some promo deal that can’t be passed up.

    • Sascha says:

I’m going to have to defend Little Caesar’s a little here. LC, at least the two in my area, still make the pizza the same way I made them when I worked at one 20 years ago. Non-frozen dough comes in, they prepare it by running it through the machine and pressing it into the pan, they use a mozzarella-muenster combo that I personally love, and all toppings and ingredients come in as fresh as possible. It is not processed.
Now, for some reason, all of that still results in a pizza that is average at best these days, so I’m not arguing too much. I still see it as a far better product than that of Dominos and Papa John’s, but that’s not saying all that much anyway.
As for your opinion on Jet’s, you’re off your rocker. It is an awesome product, especially the deep dish, but of course you have to like that thick doughy, crunchy type of pizza to enjoy it. The regular rounds at Jet’s are still better than average because the toppings are top quality, but the deep dish is definitely where it’s at.
Finally, NYC pizza SUCKS! For every one legitimately great pizza place in New York you have 25 that I wouldn’t even it over Lttle Caesar’s. Problem is, those 25 places survive because its NYC and there’s a sucker born every minute, or in this case a clueless tourist. There are, of course, some pretty great exceptions, but New York pizza as a whole is horrible.

      • Jonathan Wayne says:

You lost all credibility when you said NYC pizza sucks, that was all I needed to read and know. Dominos and Pizza Hut have vastly improved from the garbage they used to sell, Papa John’s has always been just okay but still superior to anything that Jet’s or LC has ever produced, even on their worst day.

        • Sascha says:

Tell me I’m wrong. There are so many horrible pizza places in New York. Now, the great ones are indeed special, but to make a blanket statement like NYC pizza is great, is wrong. Unless you know where you’re going, you’re far more likely to get a piece of cardboard with ketchup and bottom shelf deli meat than you are an awesome pizza experience.
And different tastes for different people, I guess. Papa John’s is vile, and Dominos has indeed improved, but they’re still only have Papa John’s. Pizza Hut has improved enough to put themselves back ahead of LC.

    • Raj says:

Yes, because the whole of internet revolves around you and your local area. THANK THE LORD FOR INTERNET LORDS Serve NYC only. Next time, if you have an opinion, make sure you talk about other people too. If you’re talking about 1% of the population getting access to NYC PIZZA of yours, make sure you understand 0.001% (lower for sure) of that actually read this website. You probably are less than 10 that go there.

Now consider a nationwide chain, all over the US. Blows your mind yet? If not please see

  14. monkeyrotica says:

The deep dish was WAY too bready for me. At a certain point, you’re just punishing yourself with all that dough chewing. And the weird white sauce on the pretzel pizza was gross. I’ll give this a try, but my expectations are really low.

  15. Horace says:

I’ve been eating Jet’s for quite a few years now, and when you get a good pizza it’s truly some of the best out there. However, some stores don’t make it nearly as good as others, and it also drops a couple of points once it is no longer hot. Little Caesar’s deep dish is very good, but it does seem like there’s just a bit too much bread.

I’m definitely going to try this Bacon Wrapped version(will be my first pizza in about three months), but frankly for $12 it would only cost a couple bucks more to get something very high quality.

  16. cs says:

Jonathan Wayne, he may have lost credibility as far as you are concerned but YOU lost credibility to me by claiming that one metro area of the entire country produces pizza so food that you cannot eat any other pizza again. There is something called an “acquired taste” and there’s a high chance that, even if I liked various pizza offerings from NYC, I wouldn’t feel like it made ALL other pizza inferior.

By the way, a good 95% or more of the population almost never eats pizza from NYC so your comment doesn’t really help anyone here who is not from NYC. Just saying.

  17. Jon says:

Pizza in NYC is fabulous. Too bad I reside in Oklahoma.

LC’s pizza isn’t bad…for what you pay. I do like their pretzel pizza, but I agree it’s much better when fresh. Leftovers take on a whole new feel.

As for LC’s new fare, $12 is way out of line.

You know, I do have fond memories of LC back when I was a kid in the 90’s. It was my grandparents’ go-to place, though I recall my grandpa always complaining that they wouldn’t make it “well done” and insisting that we wait an extra five minutes while it crisped up in the oven.

To this day, I like my (chain) pizza undercooked, even doughy – my favorite as far as cheap pizza goes is actually day-old delivery drizzled with garlic butter nuked into a ball of doughy, cheesy, saucy goodness. I still blame having to wait for the things to crisp up 😛

On a site note, if anyone is ever visiting or lives in Denver, give Two Fisted Mario’s a try. It’s not a fussy pizza place like some of the ones in Boulder (which are also incredible), but it is the ultimate pie for those who are in love with the greasy, gooey concoctions that are delivery pizzas but upped with some of the best sauce I’ve had. Best drunk pizza ever.

This food look is so hungry.
