Subway’s Tuscan Collection featuring New Tuscan Chicken Florentine Melt

Spotted in Minnesota by GrubGrade reader Christopher, it’s another new Subway offering.  The Tuscan Collection features the Tuscan Chicken Melt which we reviewed back in 2009 and the newcomer is the Tuscan Chicken Florentine Melt which includes a spinach florentine spread.  Marvo from The Impulsive Buy reviewed the Chicken Florentine Flatbread in 2008 and that had a spinach artichoke spread so maybe the “Tuscan” spin is just marketing under a new name.  Let us know what you’re finding at your local Subway in the comments.

Didn’t get a picture, but here in Tennessee we have the Tuna collection: tuna sub, tuna melt, and spicy tuna sub (with Sriracha).

Oh my God, who would ever eat at Subway, it’s so gross, there’s better sub places, it just doesn’t make any sense to me, blah, blah, blah.

Now that we have that nonsense out of the way, that spinach artichoke spread sounds good, I’ll have to give that a try.

In Virginia, we’re getting ads for the Vidalia Collection — a steak/bacon and chicken/bacon sub with a Vidalia onion sauce which may or may not be different from the one they already serve.

Here in Texas we are featuring “supreme subs.” The four sandwiches advertised are the California Club (Turkey Bacon Avocado, already on the menu), the Subway Club with bacon, a Chicken club (chicken strips, bacon and ham), and the “Tuna Club,” tuna with bacon.

The store is also featuring the Chicken Bacon Ranch and the Steak and Cheese subs. Our window has a picture of a Steak and Bacon melt, saying “try the steak collection,” but there’s no “steak collection” menu in our store.

I had this in MN over the weekend and LOVED it. Can anyone inform me of a location in Wisconsin currently offering it?
