They’ve had these at a Boston location for a couple weeks now, I tried the glazed coffee cream and was expecting to be suffocated in sweetness like the current Oreo Cream donuts but was surprised to find the inside reflected the bitter taste of coffee way so the glaze is certainly needed to balance the flavor.

It’s funny how the Glazed Coffee Creme Doughnut taste absolutely nothing like coffee.

The promo photo would have you believe these donuts are filled to bursting with coffee buttercreme filling, when in reality there is exactly one pathetically small dollop of filling in each donut. Further, I expected a coffee flavor throughout, but each donut was about 90 percent ho-hum and 10 percent yum. The coffee buttercreme has a nice sweet/bitter coffee flavor, but the shortage of filling leads to a less than spectacular nosh.
