The latest offering at Arby’s has them teaming up with another brand and this definitely worked out well in the past.  Introducing new Auntie Anne’s Cheddar Pretzel Nuggets.

Had these a week or so ago. Probably the worst fast food item ever. Pretty sure they were microwaved.

    • Bmgfl says:

I have to agree! They seemed freshly microwave “oven” baked, and not actually oven baked!

    • Chunkbunny says:

I did not like these either, but how else do you expect them to be warmed? Did you really think a fast food place was going to bake fresh pretzels for every order?

  2. Luke says:

Absolutely terrible. The cheese was gritty and artificial tasting, the dough was microwave doughy, and my order had no pretzel salt at all. The experience left me think less of both Arby’s and Auntie Anne’s as brands.

  3. Darx says:

They still taste good though your fricken tards.

  4. Robert says:

The look like those pretzel snacks called Combos.

  5. Just had these yesterday. I was shocked at how cardboard-y the pretzel nuggets were. I’m quite sure that they were microwaved. I can’t blame the restaurant here, as the rest of my order was solid. Just a poor product.

  6. Had these today.

I purchased the smaller size, which I believe was 5 or 6 for $1.99. The pretzel part definitely tasted like I was at Auntie Anne’s, but the cheese part would have been better left out. It had an artificial taste to it that can only be compared to store brand American cheese. Oil and plastic were two flavors that came from the cheese.

I understand they were going for a convenience factor with the cheese pre filled but to be honest this item should have been pretzel nuggets with a dipping cup of Arby’s own cheese goo. That stuff has flavor that would work with the pretzels.

    2/5 would not buy again.

These pretzel bites were amazingly good. I am saddened that Arby’s discontinued these mini pretzel bites. The cheese inside made the pretzel bites an amazing item to purchase for a late night snack.
