New $1 Crunchwrap Sliders Spotted at Taco Bell

Thanks to @JohnTaylor84 on Twitter for scouting out the latest test market item at Taco Bell.  Spotted in central Ohio it’s new Crunchwrap Sliders.  The Crunchwrap Sliders make good use of Fritos corn chips for the crunch and there are 3 choices, Beefy Cheddar, BBQ Chipotle Chicken, and BLT.  Priced at $1 each.

First the A.M. Crunchwraps and now these little guys? Taco Bell’s on a roll! Although, it’d be nice if they made it two for a dollar…

  2. Sascha says:

Jesus, Taco Bell is getting worse with all these menu and test items than Burger King ever was.

    That said, I’d take a couple BLT’s.

    These look really good

    Yet again I post.
And yet again I point out that they continue to toy with Beefy Crunch Burrito fans with these stupid gimmicks. That BBQ chipotle chicken ought to be disgusting. I’d figure it’s their chipotle sauce, shredded chicken, and some kind of generic BBQ sauce… oh God, no.

Great idea. I like the crunchwrap supreme a lot but I’d rather buy 3 or 4 soft tacos instead because of the price.

  6. david says:

it’s a great price but is it going to taste good and be a good portion?

Taco Bell needs to make things that taste good and still be cheap.

You have to figure the actual product will be 75%-50% the size of the promo pic. And of course they used a midget with the smallest hands to hold that huge promo product. Could be interesting, tho.

  7. John says:

The BBQ chipotle chicken is actually just the spicy chicken that they’re using in the new Doritos tacos

For some reason, I thought these were nationwide. Guess not. Saw them back East.

Actual size, at least what I got, was about half the size of a regular crunchwrap. It was bigger, height wise, smaller, circumference wise. I would guestimate it to be about half the size of a regular crunchwrap. Considering that, and only being a dollar (no idea if that would be the cost) its a great deal.

So people, that continually bitch about whatever your favorite TB item might be, or what you think they need to bring back. Enough. Stop.

People who don’t like the crunchwrap, most likely will not like this either.

Everyone else, anyone else, who likes TB. These are pretty good. And real cheap. For the price, the amount of food you get is pretty good.

Is it great? No, there will never be a TB item that is great. But in regards to a FF item, yes, it’s worth it.

Slider, well they should have probably called these crunchwrap minis. Or anything else. They are not sliders, but you all get the picture.

Does anyone know where I can get nutritional info on these? Taco bell doesn’t have them on their site and I really like the blt ones, but need to know if they fit in my diet.

My local (Seattle) taco bell told me these were coming out nationally. Dates were vague but they believed Monday the 22nd. Also they said that people using the mobile app would be able to order them three days early. No details on if they were the same as the test market ones or not.

  13. TB Junkie says:

These links would seem to confirm 12/22/14 for the launch date and also that they’re they’ll be the same variations as the test market ones. Also looks like the rolled chicken tacos are gone and xxl nachos are back?
