What am I going to do with 24 donuts?

    • MP says:

You can freeze them, Mike. That’s what I do. Thaw them either on the counter/microwave or eat them frozen. But I’ve found donuts are like 50% cheaper in the supermarket & just as good.

The best thing to do with “old” Krispy Kreme donuts (2-3 days old, when they’re are rock hard and dry, you know, like a brand new Dunkin Donut) is microwave them in a little butter. They take on a whole new level of awesome, creating a different sweet treat experience.

  3. GMoney says:

Re-fry the glazed donuts in real butter. Cover with ice creme

The above comments are wimpy. Grab the doughnut, throw it in the trash where it belongs, and shovel a fistful of butter down your gullet. Cut out the middle-man and go straight for the clogging power.

wow… always one of these holier than thou commenters bitching about doughnuts… I LIKE KK doughnuts, I DON’T eat them all the time since less healthy things for you CAN be enjoyed in MODERATION

I am also athletic and nowhere near overweight, even at 40 years old…

I can’t stand people like you that guilt people into not enjoying things they enjoy

Tried to go to the only KK in this area for about 40 miles. The line was all the way to the bathroom inside and the line for the drive thru was around the building and out onto the major Hwy. Not worth the hassle for a 2nd dozen that’s all glazed.

    • Mike says:

Wait you drove 40 miles or just went to the one within?…it was only worth it if you happened to be there buying a dozen IMO… But it said in Baltimore they take EBT cards for donuts but not hot food(not starting a war, if you use an EBT card nothing wrong with that) and it was packed.

      • DuhMe says:

The next nearest KK to the one here locally is about 40 miles away. No way would I drive 40 miles for donuts when the money in gas spent would negate the $.77 price of the Glazed dozen. I was lead to understand that EBT benefits couldn’t be used on pre-prepared hot food in the grocery stores but I don’t know anything about how it’s allowed to be used outside of stores. Since donuts are made hot to order that now has me confused. I’ve read about how some eateries take EBT cards but have never seen anyone use one like that in person.
