The Blizzard of the Month for September at Dairy Queen is the Apple Pie Blizzard… and the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard is Back

This month at Dairy Queen, the Apple Pie Blizzard gets the nod as the featured Blizzard of the Month.  The Apple Pie Blizzard features cinnamon apple with cinnamon pie pieces blended with vanilla soft serve and crowned with whipped topping and cinnamon sprinkles.  You can check out a review of the new Apple Pie Blizzard over at On Second Scoop.  To make things interesting, the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard is also going to be available.  It’s Apple versus Pumpkin in a Blizzard Battle… which corner are you in?

    Apple Pie sounded AMAZING but there was nearly no apples in it (tasted maybe… 5 small pieces in the entire small blizzard I had) and the rest is filled with “pie crust” that tasted (and was shaped) like tasteless cinnamon toast crunch cereal. My wife’s pumpkin was a bit on the spicy side but ended up being better, with real tasting pie crust too! Shame DQ messed up the Apple Pie one…

    I agree with Adam the apple pie blizzard I had didn’t even have apple pieces in it.the pieces of crust was like cinnamon toast crunch that was a year old I’m not ever going to have one of those again
