New Extra Long BBQ Cheeseburger at Burger King

The Rodeo Cheeseburger is probably the best menu item on the Burger King menu in my humble opinion.  It’s a good size, nice value, and has a cool name.  In comes the newcomer called the Extra Long BBQ Cheeseburger.  Bigger size/price and terrible name.  My local BK has the sandwich priced at $3.49. The Extra Long BBQ Cheeseburger features two fire-grilled, 100% beef burger patties layered side by side on a toasted hoagie bun and topped with American cheese, onion rings, and BBQ sauce.  590 calories, 28 grams of fat, 62 grams of carbs, 1080 milligrams of sodium, 22 grams of protein

So putting two burgers beside one another instead of stacked is now innovation?

Basically people are paying more than twice as much for more bread..

    Sigh.

BK just went full retard. You never go full retard.

The Rodeo Burger is $1 at my BK but without cheese. This version is about 90¢ too much if cheese is 30¢ a slice. Sneaky!

Didnt they already have something similiar to this on the menu like 10 years ago? Except it had those onion straws instead of onion rings. And no it wasnt the steakhouse burgers.

BK has sucked hard for many years. And they tried (and failed) to introduce many items over the past year. But this, well fail is not the right word.

Didn’t Subway try to do this in the past few years?

And price, who cares. You get what you pay for. And you can’t pay me to eat this.

BK should join up with Papa Johns and figure out their core business, how to provide a single decent item, and then just figure out the rest.

Yes, it does simply look like side by side rodeo burgers. I guess it could be worth it if they are using the bigger patties that they started using on the Big King, that could justify the upcharge.

burger king had a very similar burger in the early 90s called the bullseye barbecue burger, but with bacon instead of onion rings. It was actually pretty popular back then.

I think theres a video of it on youtube if you look it up.

Wow, this just looks disgusting and this is coming from someone that loves the Rodeo Cheeseburger. They need to kill that nasty, dried out chicken sandwich and the bun that goes along with it.

How does this look disgusting if it’s practically the same item as a Rodeo burger. You need to calm down, fella.

  9. Joe Cool says:

Wow! I almost can’t believe it. Is it an actual orange drink that is just orange. No orange creme junk or orange vanilla or any of that garbage. Just good ol’ orange. FINALLY!!!

I’m gay, and even I wouldn’t order an “extra long” anything.
