Wendy’s Bacon Portabella Melt Returns November 11th with New Brioche Bun
2013 has been a year full of bread variety at Wendy’s. In March Wendy’s introduced their multi-grain flatbread. The trendy pretzel bun took over after that with the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger and more recently the Pretzel Pub Chicken Sandwich. Starting November 11th, Wendy’s will reintroduce the Bacon Portabella Melt with a new brioche bun.
The Bacon Portabella Melt features a 1/4 lb. beef patty with sauteed portabella mushrooms in cheddar cheese sauce, Applewood smoked bacon, two slices of American cheese and a French-style brioche bun made with real eggs and butter and toasted to order. It’s available for a limited time — until late December. Recommended price is $4.79 (prices will vary by market).
