Super Crunch Chicken Sonic

Crispy-on-the-outside, juicy-on-the-inside, these all-white meat chicken strips are packed with a super crunch. So, let’s face it – sometimes it’s what’s on the outside that counts most! Made with extra crunch for extra flavor, dip these crispy strips in our Buttermilk Ranch, Honey Mustard, Hickory BBQ sauce* or eat them plain.

I don’t think we’re a test market for anything (Denver area). But Sonic has had these for at least a month or so. I noticed them when I tried their cheesy bacon pretzel dog (which I thought was great, but wish the dog was grilled).

Not sure how these differ from their prior chicken tender offering, but had them before as well and tasted like any chains chicken tenders/fingers.

The combo comes with Texas Toast, an onion ring, country gravy, and fries or tots. Pretty good deal, the gravy is great with the chicken strips.

These are actually really good. My local Sonic brought back the Chicken Strip Dinner, which I’ve always been a big fan of.

So glad they advised what sauces are available to use for dipping. I mean it is pure craziness to think of dipping a chicken strip in honey mustard or ranch. Weird! In all seriousness, Sonic’s food isn’t very good in my opinion. I’ve yet to have anything there that is even worth half the price. Hopefully others have better experiences than I have had.

Agreed about the prices. They had the half-off burger day so I thought I would try one…but the burgers there were still more expensive than other fast food restaurants, even at half price. There wasn’t any quality improvement either.

Everything at Sonic is about 2x more expensive, or more, than it should be.
