New Sriracha Chicken Melt from Subway
Spotted in Central Florida by GrubGrade reader Bardia…thanks! It’s the new Sriracha Chicken Melt from Subway. A limited time offering featuring a “bold new creamy Thai Sriracha sauce with spicy chile and a hint of garlic”. Have you spotted the Sriracha Chicken Melt in your area? Thoughts? Take a look at the promotional pic:
Isn’t Sriracha closer to red color than the orange shown in the picture?
Yeah it is but this is a sriracha mixed with something else.
I’ll bet you a Guinness draft that it’s mixed with mayo. 🙂
Instead of the Sriracha, our region is doing the Baja BBQ Steak Melt. It is described as “Mountains of tender steak and melty Monterey Cheddar, topped with an oh-so-sweet and spicy chile BBQ sauce full of hickory flavor and a hint of garlic.”
Ha! It’s probably the same sauce is my guess.
I think sriracha has officially jumped the shark!
I think Subway jumped the shark a long time ago when they started trying to charge way too much for way to little
Agreed. Their entire sub menu should fall under the $5 Foot Long category. I can’t imagine what Wendy’s “Where’s the beef!” lady would say if she were alive to buy a full priced foot long sub from Subway these days. I can only imagine it wouldn’t be suited for television.
Where’s the beef indeed. Look at the “steak” they serve.
The sub itself without the steak is 29 carbs.
With the steak it is 51 carbs.
STEAK DOESN’T HAVE ANY CARBOHYDRATES. It’s fat and protein. So what the heck is that made out of, exactly? Corn?
Their old steak didn’t have this, before they started messing with the ingredients.
We will be offering that chicken melt in my area soon. I tried the sauce and it is damn hot! Don’t know how much it will be, but I doubt it will sell into area
