A couple of weeks ago, we brought you news that Chick-fil-A is going to be having some significant menu changes involving their Salads and Cool Wraps.  A press release just became available and we have some more details.  The salads will be priced starting at $6.79.  The improved Cool Wrap will feature a new all-natural, high-fiber flax bread and start at $4.89.New Chick-fil-A SaladsIt’s interesting to see Chick-fil-A make the switch from grilled chicken strips to sliced nuggets on a couple of these salads.  Some other changes that caught my eye are the new salad dressings and toppers.  When pictures of the new Cool Wrap become available, I’ll make an update.  Here’s a rundown of the new entree Salads and the new Cool Wrap:

I really like their southwest chicken salad and the spicy chicken wrap, hope these new ones are as good, because the sliced chicken nuggets seem like a downgrade.

anyone else think those prices are too high??

    • Sheila says:

I do feel like the prices are really high… They already increased this past year from $5.49 to $5.99 for the Southwest and Garden Chargrill salads, and now starting at $6.79 is another price hike. I do enjoy their salads, but I only get them once in a long while because they are pricey. Or maybe I’m just too cheap…

So are the nuggets that are sliced breaded or grilled? I am confused. I know the kid’s meal has an option for grilled nuggets so are the grilled ones being used on the salads? And if not, do you know if you can opt for grilled chicken like on the market salad instead of the nuggets on the other two??? Anyone?

    • Ryan says:

Nuggets on the salad are the standard breaded, but there might be an option to use grilled if you want.

    • Sheila says:

I’m hoping that we can get a grilled option as well. I don’t mind their nuggets, but I think I’d prefer the chargrill slices over the nuggets for the salad.

I’m not cheap and I think their new salads starting at $6.79 are priced way too high. By the time you add a beverage, you’re close to $9.00. No thanks, for that price, I would opt for a salad in a sit-down restaurant with real plates and flatware.

Had the asian salad today. Flavor is good and the honey sesame dressing compliments it well. The chicken nuggets make it salty. Grilled chicken would be preferred.

Just tried this for the first time and it’s the jam. The charred tomato & crispy red bell peppers and avocado lime ranch dressing are awesome new additions!

The new wraps are absolutely amazing! I didn’t have to use any dressing at all because there’s already so much flavor. Recommend it for everyone!
