I’m Feeling Generous: Chipotle Gift Card Giveaway

I needed a sedative to help me sleep for about 10-hours so Chipotle seemed like a good choice.  While there, I spotted a gift card deal where I’ll get a free entree item on my next visit with the purchase of $30 or more in gift cards.  So here we are… thanks for visiting GrubGrade and here’s a chance at a Chipotle gift card from Santa Ryan.  I’m not going with the random selection this time, I’ll pick and choose 2 comments and the chosen will each receive a $15 Chipotle gift card.If I really like your $15 Chipotle order, you’ll catch my eye and win some free grub.  Leave a comment with your $15 Chipotle order, earn my grubbing respect, win a prize.  It’s that simple.  Sure I could’ve increased your odds of winning and made it 3 gift cards at $10 a piece, but I can’t seem to ever keep my order under the $10 mark 🙂 . I’ll pick some winners when the magic number is hit.  Have at it in the comments!

  2. Sam Ronen says:

I’d get a burrito bowl with chicken, black beans, romaine, spicy salsa, cheese, sour cream, and a scoop of guac and rice. I’d also get another burrito bowl with the same for my girlfriend, because it’s one of our favorite places to go to. And to round it up, a side of chips and guac and two lemonades.

  3. Cory says:

I am a fan of the site and am interested in a gift card!

  10. Jack says:

I’ll second the guacamole comment. I’m from the hometown on Pancheros, but I’ll take Chipotle 10/10 times. Quality ingredients.

  11. Nichol Perez says:

Sorry I wrote it twice . It said it didn’t go through. I also forgot the Izze drink to wash it all down

  12. Alaina says:

Basically the best burrito in the world: Chicken, white rice, no beans, ALL THE SALSAS AND PLENTY OF THEM, sour cream, cheese. If it bursts (and it usually does), double wrap it. One bag of chips, two cups of tomato salsa. One bottle of blackberry Izze. Anything left? Pay it forward to the person behind me in line.

  13. Eric J says:

Burrito Bowl: Double Meat (Chicken and Steak), pinto beans (“they have bacon in them, is that ok?”), white rice, fajita veggies, mild, medium, corn, sour cream, cheese, guacamole (“guacamole dollar-eighty extra, is that ok?”).
    Side of Chips & Guac
    Grapefruit Izzie

Good lord, now I want Chipotle.

  15. $15: one steak burrito bowl with guac (extra charge). The bowl has rice, black beans, steak (duh), lettuce, pico de gallo, corn salsa, cheese, and sour cream. Another bowl with carnitas, which has rice, pinto beans, all the salsa (corn, pico, green, and hot), cheese, and sour cream. Two drinks. That’s dinner for the boyfriend and I.

  16. Veronica says:

A chicken burrito bowl, with extra corn salsa and pico on the side. An order of guacamole and chips. Finally, a quesadilla kid’s meal for my toddler who loves their quesadilla and the fact it comes with black beans ( and mommy’s corn salsa) 🙂

  17. Andrew Fitzgerald says:

One Barbacoa Burrito with rice, black beans, cheese, lettuce, sour cream, corn salsa, and globs of hot sauce. Chips and extra guacamole and a water to make sure my mouth doesn’t catch on fire.

  18. Give me a mulligan if my order shows no real understanding of chipotle prices. We’ve sadly been doing all taco bell lately. I will go with one of those exquisite burritos w/steak, lettuce, guac, the red smooth hot salsa, and cheese. Also an unsweet tea…smallest size because the refills are right there. I think we are up to about $11. The remaining $4 should get a kids meal or something. My wife is tiny and she eats those.

  19. mike says:

thats 2 delicious carnitas burrito bowls.my girlfriend is addicted as well

  20. Justin ST says:

I’ve never been to Chipotle and I want to try it out. It’s about 90 minutes away from me. If I won this gift card, I would finally be able to fulfill a lifelong dream. I would order a steak burrito, a drink, and probably another steak burrito for my brother, and a drink if he wants it. Please Santa Ryan, make a wish come true this Christmas.

I feel like I’m on an episode of Undercover Boss, lol.

  21. TSA says:

I always get a burrito bowl with two tortillas on the side. Double rice, double black beans, double steak, mild (pico de gallo), medium, and hot salsa, double corn, sour cream, and cheese. Two sides of chips and guacamole. I can never finish the entire thing in one sitting, it usually lasts me 2-3 meals.

  22. Carey says:

Chips & guac and a fajita burrito bowl with barbacoa, corn, tomato & guac…. while wearing my “YES, I KNOW THE GUACAMOLE IS EXTRA” t-shirt

  23. jd says:

Well I need to gain weight so this is what I would do. Start with a burrito with extra salsa of course. Id use braised beef and steak, rice, lettuce, tomato, pintos and for the weight gain Extra cheese. I’d order chips and guac, unroll my burrito, crush my chips and add to the inside of the burrito. Id order a side salad (for the health factor cough cough) and use the chipolte honey dressing inside of the burrito. I would tear off the extra ends of the burrito tortilla and roll it back up. I would chow down on that and then I would use the ends I tore off, the salad with beef and the extra guac from the chips to make 2 mini burritos for a snack on the side 🙂

  24. Kristina Meier says:

My own extra large burrito! Double meat (chicken and steak) double beans, rice, veggies, extra cheese, corn salsa, sour cream and of course extra guac! With chips and salsa and guac on the side. The perfect meal.

  25. Robbie says:

my burrito is with barbacoa, black beans, cilantro lime rice, hot salsa, sour cream, lettuce, and guacamole (yes, i know it costs extra). and a margarita because i can’t afford not to

  26. ERIC says:

Burrito with 2 servings of Barbacoa, Fajita Veggies, Guacamole, Sour Cream, and Cheese. One steak soft taco with Roasted Chili-Corn Salsa and Cheese. Chips with Guacamole and one large sweet tea!

  27. Mike DeSantis says:

I would order 1 steak burrito all the fixins, with tomatillo red chili salsa for my wife, 1 chicken burrito everything with hot salsa for me, and one order of chips and guac for us to split.

  28. Enrique L. says:

I’ll stuff one burrito with everything that’s available on the menu. It’ll probably end up being more than $15 but the gift card will help toward fulfilling my dream burrito!

  29. matt in the hatt says:

i have only been there once and it was years ago so i dont know what i would get, but i would like a gift card anyway so i can go try it out again

  30. Isaac says:

Chicken burrito with double meat, white rice, pinto beans, tomato salsa, extra corn salsa, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce.
    Cup of coke.
    Chips and guac.

  31. raiders757 says:

I’ve never been to Chipotle, as it’s located in my local mall. Sadly the location makes it rather inconvenient most of the time. Yet, “tis the season”, so I happen to have the good fortune of venturing in that direction in the next few weeks. It would be awesome to have a reason to try the place out, as otherwise I would just pass the place by.

I’m not sure how much anything costs there, so Ill’ just have to with what i would ask for, and hope they had it.

I would ask for a burrito made with steak, rice, cilantro, pico de gallo, white American cheese, and a beer on the side. A side of salsa and chips would be nice as well.

  32. squibby says:

I would get our usual: 2 burrito bowls with rice, chicken, mild salsa cause I’m a wimp, sour cream, guacamole, cheese plus a side order of chips and guacamole and chips and salsa. I like the bowl loaded with stuff except beans. I had Chipotle so many times during the summer months I haven’t had any lately. Thanks for the gift card giveaway.

  33. Aubrey says:

I always a burrito bowl with chicken with black beans, cheese, hot salsa, corn salsa and lettuce 🙂

  34. Kevin says:

Always the same. Chicken burrito bowl, small flour tortillas on the side. Extra cilantro rice and pinto beans, fajita veggies, chicken, medium salsa, extra corn salsa, and cheese, sour cream, and guac. Can’t beat it. Might have to go tonight

  35. Grilled steak Burrito Bowl, no guac, 2x cilantro rice, pinto beans, tomatillo salsa, and sour cream, little bit of lettuce. Chips on the side. Dr. Pepper.

  36. Gimme a burrito with double chicken, NO RICE (trust me, it makes the other flavors much stronger), fajita veggies, black beans, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, sour cream, cheese, guacamole, and lettuce. Heck, if you’re footing the bill, I might just go for some chips and tomatillo green-chili salsa. YOUR MOVE, WISEST GRUBMASTER RYAN.

  37. Robert Johnson says:

  38. Ed says:

$15 worth of soft corn tortilla tacos

  39. Justin says:

when they ask if it is ok that their is bacon in the pinto beans, i say “thats awesome”

  40. Sherry says:

Burrito bowl with tortilla on the side (free tortilla to be spread with sugar and butter then rolled up and eaten later), rice, barbacoa, lots of extra lettuce, fresh romato, roasted chili-corn, cheese, sour cream, then the entire thing doused in nearly 1/3 of a bottle of chipotle tabasco. Chips and guac. ritual. SO GOOD.

  41. Ashley s says:

Yum! 1)barbacoa bowl with pinto beans, brown rice, cheese, sour cream, fajita veggies and medium salsa
    2) pork burrito with white rice, pinto beans, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, medium salsa
    3) an order of chips and guacamole
    4) 2 soft drinks- tea and anything diet

  42. Malcolm says:

Two burritos, one for barbacoa, one for carnitas. Both have brown rice, fajitas, everything, and no guac. I could go for soda, but I’m sticking with water.

  44. MuLy says:

fajita burrito bowl w chicken and carnitas, black beans, rice, pico de gallo, extra corn, cheese, lettuce, guac, and a little drizzle of sour cream; tortilla on the side. chips and guac to go w the order.

  45. Richard says:

Chicken bowl with brown rice, veggies (no beans), medium salsa, cheese, sour cream and lettuce. Sometimes I also like the salad.

  46. Kate says:

Oh god. How I love Chipotle. A recent status on my Facebook was as follows, “You know you have a problem when the workers at Chipotle recognize you”. Yes. I have a serious problem. But I don’t care. I also always get the same exact thing.

I get a bowl to go with white rice, pinto beans (they make them with BACON!), carnitas, with extra meat (which I always try to pronounce correctly…my middle school Spanish teacher would be proud), mild salsa and cheese. Usually, that with chips and guac adds up to right around 10 bucks. I would add in a drink (they offer the Izze soda in Grapefruit), and then I would get an extra thing or two of guacamole. I’m a cheapskate, so I would usually never get all that, but this is like fifteen free dollars!!! I would be so happy. So, so happy.

  47. Carlie says:

Burrito bowl with rice, black beans, steak & chicken, corn salsa, extra pico, lettuce, cheese, sour cream and chips and guac on the side. Now I’m hungry!!

  48. Pilar Buford says:

    I would order a
Barbacoa bowl for my mom she loves those thing with extra guac, and for me I would get somthing off there menu that a lot of people dont know they have like my fav chicken Quesadilla which is as big as their famous burritos and a small soda cause I may not have enough for a large. HAHA

  49. Big Belly says:

I’m not sure of prices, but looking at the menu, this is what I’d go with…
    burrito with…
    Barbacoa, Tomatillo-Green Chili Salsa,
Sour Cream, Pinto Beans, Cheese, Guacamole
    and taco’s with…
Canitas Sour Cream, Tomatillo-Red Chili Salsa,, Cheese, Guacamole, Romaine lettuce

  50. Meg says:

Friday afternoon: Burrito Bowl with Barbacoa, brown rice, tomato salsa, corn salsa, and lettuce (to be good on the diet. For Saturday Afternoon: The Hangover Special (I am known at my Chipotle for being the first customer in the door on Saturday/Sunday mornings) – Carnitas Fajita Burrito with white rice, tomato salsa, corn salsa, hot salsa, extra cheese, extra sour cream and lettuce (MORE DAIRY). Total: just under the $15 mark!

  51. Nick says:

I go to Chipotle every 2 days.. this seems like all those years of Chipotle studying finally comes in handy!

Bowl with Rice, black beans, fajitas, steak, extra steak ($1.19 extra) mild salsa, hot salsa, corn salsa, sour cream, cheese, guacamole.

I ask the cashier for 2 Chipotle vinaigrette on the side (Please, try this.. it’s beyond delicious) and an order of Chips.

  52. hortanz says:

I would get me a barbacoa quesarito with guac, hot, pico de gallo, cheese, sour cream, the works, chips and salsa on the side, and a nice nantucket nectar.

  53. Blair says:

Would love to get some soft tacos and guacamole at Chipotle!

  54. Jack Percival says:

I’d like a bowl 2 go, please no pinto. I’m a black bean guy, but with white rice inside. Chicken please and double that meat. sour cream, corn, medium sauce, cheese and lettuce. and some chips with guacamole sauce. which would come to exactly 8 dollars. Merry Christmas and my family loves your site.

  55. jill n. says:

My 7-year old son and I love to have dinner at Chipotle. Our order: 1 chicken burrito, 1 bag of chips, 1 side of guac, and a soda. I get the top fifth of the burrito, a few chips, and a few dips of the guac. The food is gone in a flash thanks to him. I do get to drink as much soda as I want though, because our regular seat is right next to the soda fountain.

  56. Abby says:

First and foremost, I would get a steak burrito bowl with black beans, and rice with everything.
Secondly, I would order my husband a steak burrito with pinto beans (he hates rice and guac so I’ll have to nix those), and extra hot sauce.
Definitely sweet tea for me and a beer or two for the hubby.
Some extra chips on the side and call it a day.
Might go over the $15 but it’d be worth it!

  57. arjun says:

“Quesorito” – (a quesadilla with burrito fillings, rolled like a burrito) with double meat. depending on the mood barbacoa or carnitas with steak. fillings will be rice, pinto beans, cheese, sour cream, guac, tomatilla red, and corn salsa. a side of chips/guac, and a drink bring it over 15.

its disgustingly good, and gets hard to wrap and even harder to eat. its my once a year treat where i don’t care about the calories and just indulge.

  58. Elise says:

Sadly enough, I have never been to Chipotle. Yes, there are locations here, but I’ve never been. I’m insane! So, my guesses on price are based on Qdoba, which I’m guessing would be a 4-letter word here. Oops. At any rate… looks like I’d get:
A steak salad with corn salsa and black beans. Maybe throw some brown rice on there if I want extra fiber n stuff. An order of chips and guac with a side of pico. Will I have enough for a good, American soda pop? Eh?

  59. calanco says:

I’m going to load up the burrito, but drink a Diet Coke so I don’t get fat.

  60. Jessica says:

My order is a bowl with half barbacoa/half carnitas, brown rice, black beans, pico de gallo, corn salsa, cheese, and sour cream. Yum!

  61. Granty says:

chorizo breakfast burrito w/scrambled eggs, potatoes, black beans, cheese, and spicy salsa… lots of salsa. circa early 2012 @dulles. delicious. boom, done.

  62. Ann S. says:

    Dear Santa Ryan,
My Chipotle order would be one of those fabulous burritos. With grilled chicken, fajita vegetables, both fresh tomato salsa and the tomatillo green salsa, black beans, white rice, and that fabulous guacamole.
And a side of chips with more salsa – the fresh stuff… and some more guacamole.
And maybe a small quesadilla too, just to finish it off. Because I love those chips, and I love that chicken.
That would be the best lunch ever for me.
Love, me, A Chipotle addict who is hoping for a gift card in her almost-Christmas stocking.

  63. Santiago c says:

Barbacoa burrito with fajita vegetables, cilantro line rice, black beans, corn salsa, extra cheese, and sour cream. Now here comes the best part. They charge you for a side of chips and guac for this, but I ask for them to put guacamole and crushed chips into my burrito. The crushed chips add awesome texture. This request has been met with enthusiasm by the workers about 90% of the times I’ve asked for it.

  64. Gerry says:

I would get 1 chicken/steak burrito, and a couple of rice bowls since i am obsessed with their rice. Maybe a couple of salad sauces too! Mmmmmm hungry thinking about it now, Please pick me as a winner!

  65. HelloKatie says:

My $15: Grilled chicken burrito bowl + chips and guac + a little tip in the tip jar.

Here’s a tip for those of us who can’t scarf down an entire burrito in one sitting. Order the burrito bowl. Ask for the tortilla on the side, which Chipotle will gladly throw in for FREE. That saves me from eating a soggy burrito the next day.

  66. I think I would put that towards the much discussed “Two Burrito Challenge” at work. We’ve got a couple of big talkers that claim to be able to knock back two burritos in one sitting. Time to put up or shut up!

  67. Mike N. says:

I’ve been all about steak lately so I’d go with a steak bowl with rice, pinto beans, corn/green, cheese and lettuce. Guacamole of course and maybe a quesadilla.

  68. Adam says:

$15 order. Easy. I call it the half-half. Half brown rice-half white rice. Half chicken-half carnitas. Lettuce. Chipotle tobasco. And with the rest of the money, I’ll buy my lovely girlfriend a burrito, because I don’t surprise her with lunch enough.

  69. Stephen Z. says:

Alright…chicken burrito.with pinto beans, rice, hot salsa, guacamole, cheese, and sour cream. Then I will make 2 orders of chips and guacamole, and stop at my local Sam’s club for the huge package of toilet paper. Just being honest lol.

  70. Sheila says:

It’s been a long while since I’ve eaten at Chipotle, but winning a gift card would definitely change that immediately!

I’d order a Chicken Burrito, with cilantro-lime rice, black beans, roasted chile-corn salsa, fresh tomato salsa, shredded cheese, and sour cream. I’d also get a vegetarian burrito bowl for the guacamole, with black beans, extra roasted chile-corn salsa, tomato salsa, and shredded cheese sprinkled on top. Since the burritos/bowls are around$6-7 in my area (last time I checked), I’d either get a drink or a side of chips and salsa/guacamole to utilize the whole gift card. Well, that would probably put it a little over with tax.

Since Chipotle portions are so large, I could potentially split this order into two trips. Or I could be nice and bring along a friend or family member. 😉 Either way, it would give me a couple of meals or more, depending on how/when I ordered.

Thanks so much for the chance to win!

  71. Erin L. says:

I would order whatever you suggest because I’ve only ever been to Chipotle once…I have two kids and a limited budget. If they want tacos/burritos, we make them at home. They would eat me broke. Haha 🙂

  72. Michael says:

Half and half burrito with Carnitas and Barbacoa. Stuffed with Rice, Pinto Beans, Fajita Veggies, Tomatillo-Green Chili Salsa, Sour Cream, Cheese, and Lettuce. An order of chips and guac on the side, and a Pineapple Orange Banana Nantucket to wash it all down.

  73. Dante says:

Yes i love chipotle i go everyweek! i would love a gift card!!!

  74. Aaron says:

A single burrito (carnitas of course), then cash the rest out into pennies to make a pool of money for it to swim in ala Scrooge McDuck.

  75. Pauline says:

I don’t regularly eat out, but when I do, I go Dos Equis:
burrito with barbacoa, corn, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, every type of salsa they have, and easy black beans and easy brown cilantro rice to make room for the better fillings, and more corn. Then sit down with a bottle of chipotle abasco sauce and look like a badass little asian girl with a burrito bigger than her face. Oh, and a cup of water to wash it all down. Gotta keep hydrated, ya know.

  76. Julien says:

    Oooooooh…. The claaaaw…
(Pick me if you got the reference.)

  77. Dk says:

Barbacoa off the menu quesadilla with cheese, guac, and the spicy salsa. Also a breakfast chipotle burrito with barbacoa, egg, potato, cheese, guac and spicy salsa (only available at Washington Dulles airport). A truly unique Chipotle feast

  78. Arsenal Fan says:

I would brazenly and boldly walk up to the front counter, happily order a double asada burrito with guacamole, salsa, cheese, and light sour cream (as in not too much sour cream). I would complete it with a bag of chips and salsa on the side.

That would bring the total to somewhere around $13 in my experience (I live in California, we have expensive Chipotle, reason #1 I hope I win). At this point I would realize that my mother LOVES Chipotle (reason #2 I hope I win) and instead of saving the two dollars on that gift card to sit idly and depressed in my wallet I would fork out a couple extra dollars to get my mother a burrito bowl.

  79. Flowers&Oil says:

I prefer the bowl, basically it’s just a way to create one amazing dip for the chips:

    Brown rice
peppers/onions AND pinto beans. I’ve been getting big bacon chunks in them recently. New Recipe?
    Double up on the Barbacoa
    Lettuce, cheese, pico, corn

At the table, I’ll squeeze 1-2 lemons over the entire thing and use ample amounts of green tobacco.

Any remaining funds will be spent on beer.

  80. Nick O. says:

Carnitas burrito, chips and guac, and a coke with a slice of lemon. Euro Style!!

  81. Thea says:

i just get a ton of queso. queso all over my body.

oh wait, chipotle doesn’t have queso…. but i do get the veg burrito with rice, cheese, sour cream, guar, salsa and corn.

  82. a double meat chicken and steak burrito bowl with all the fixings, add guac, chips, and a corona

  83. Jessica says:

I would order: a burrito with chicken, cilantro lime rice, black beans, quac, sour cream, cheese, and spicy salsa. I like when my burrito can’t be rolled properly. I’d also get a coke. And as much quac as the money would let me.

  84. Brandon says:

At Chipotle, you can order this thing called a quesorito.

    Quesadilla + Burrito = Goodness

They put cheese on the tortilla along with the meat and put it on the press. With the cheese gooey and melted and the tortilla warm and crunchy, they then continue with the burrito order.

I usually order extra rice, chicken, black bean, fajitas, corn salsa, medium salsa, mild salsa, and finally MORE cheese to top it off. Who doesnt love cheese?

Order the Quesorito! You won’t regret it!

  85. Steven says:

I get a burrito bowl with extra rice (combination white/brown) with fajita vegetables, no beans, double serving of chicken, mild salsa, cheese and sour cream. I then have them add on some extra cilantro on top. That puts the extra yummy into my bowl I have found! Mmmmmm mmmmm mmmmm! Chips and guac with a side of mild salsa is always a nice add-on as well.

  86. So how many margaritas would $15 bucks get me 😉

    I’d go with that

  87. Ashley H. says:

Here in Olympia WA we just got our first Chipotle and I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet. They put it in the strip mall. Boo! I try to steer clear of those places 🙁 But if you picked me I would dutifully march over to the local strip mall, dodging the preteen consumerist zombies, to give Chipotle a try. I think they would be worth it. Since I’ve never been to Chipotle I had to check out the menu online and so far the traditional Burrito with Black Beans and Carnitas looks pretty tempting. Its too bad they don’t have fish tacos? I salvate for those puppies. From the other commenters it looks like the Burrito Bowls are pretty good too.

  88. s2brash says:

I get the Chicken Burrito Bowl + barbacoa for 2.20, brown rice, black beans, pico, a little hot salsa, corn, cheese, guac for 1.80, add a cold corona and that would be right around $14, put the rest in the tipjar.

  89. aryana says:

Mkay so since i have this splurgy budget i’d go all out. A burrito with not only chicken , but also steak. Everything on it except guac and lettuce. and extra salsa and cheese. (not much of a fan of lettuce on my burrito i save it for the tacos) ,A couple of crispy chicken tacos, and a izzie..Moes wouldnt see me that monday.

  90. JF says:

    Hey Ryan!

Thanks for the generosity! For a single meal (for myself) I can’t see spending more than $10. So asking what I would spend $15 on, I can’t answer that. Unless I bring a friend or pay for someone else’s order (which I have done in the past).

So having said that, I would use the gift card (being a gift) to get something I never had before. While their menu is pretty basic, so to speak, I would venture on the side of a salad or burrito bowl.

Or I’d be a little more adventurous and do what Chefprotoss did over about a year ago, and see what I can get them to whip up from their secret menu. Meaning a Quesadilla (which still is not on their menu, even though Qdoba offers one) with a mix of their ingredients (no beans) but Fajita veggies!

Since that is not $15, I would do it 2 times, different meat each time.

Or maybe head down to downtown Denver, but a few burritos and give them out to the homeless. Probably a better idea since they can use the grub more than I and I suspect any of your other readers could.

  91. jo0nyer says:

I absolutely love a steak burrito (Cilantro lime rice, pinto beans, mild salsa, lettuce, cheese, and guacamole) with a side of chips and salsa! Chipotle is on top of my favorite places to eat at 🙂

  92. Berroci says:

The steak is seared, the salsa chopped
    The avocado’s leatherèd skin is lopped;
A dash of sauce, a pint of cream,
Couch all in a tortilla so nicely steamed.
And–oh! Do not forget the rice and beans!
‘Tis handmade food, ne’er by machine.

  93. Rey says:

Burrito bowl with tortillas on the side. Chicken, black beans, corn salsa, lettuce, extra extra cheese, sour cream & guacamole. 6 cups of that super hot sauce they have.

  94. Phungus says:

My usual order of a burrito with brown rice, fajita veggies, chicken, tomato salsa, corn, cheese & lettuce: $7.10
My girlfriend’s order of a burrito bowl with white rice, chicken, tomato salsa, corn, sour cream & lettuce: $7.10
Winning a $15 dollar gift card so I can treat my girlfriend out because I’m a broke college student: Priceless

  95. Marty says:

    Pork Burrito
w/ brown rice, black beans, pork, mild salsa, a little bit of hot salsa, corn, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce
Side of chips w/ hot salsa
Water cup, but still get lemonade 🙂

  97. NHL Lockout says:

I’ll celebrate the end of the NHL lockout and my survival of the Mayan apocalypse by devouring a burrito filled with Chicken, Pinto beans, rice, cheese, sour cream w the hot salsa. I might even try these chips people rave about.

  98. steve says:

There can be only one way to order Chipotle. My $15 quest requires ordering a Burrito bowl with both barbacoa and carnitas with a heaping of rice, pinto and black beans, Roasted Chili-Corn and Tomatillo Red-Chili, cheese and sour cream, a healthy mound of guac, and some lettuce on top for great justice. Throw in chips and salsa and a dos equis and call it a day

  99. steve says:

Extra meat of course to get to $15

  100. Asia J. says:

15 kablingies?? Woot! well heres how Id spend those sweet currency nuggets. Burrito Bowl: extra cilantro rice, 1 more scoop please, extra chicky chicky bang bang, fajita style por favor, mild salsa, extra corn salsa, extra cheese and extra sour cream! And most importantly a side of the dressing used for salad adds a nice zing to my sexy bowl of gluttony! Num num. 101. Asia J. says:

^^^^totally forgot to add the ruffage(romaine lettuce that is)!

  102. Jimmy James says:

While it may run a little over $15, I’d take a few of my co-workers and treat them to a nice lunch. As for what I’d get? Steak fajita burrito, pinto beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, cheese, and I’d DEFINITELY get guacamole. Maybe if someone else drives (and it’s AFTER work), I’d wash it down with a Corona.

  103. My usual order, which leaves people looking as I am 5’2″ and weigh 100 pounds.

Veggie Burrito with White Rice, Black Beans, Pico, Cheese, Sour Cream, Guac and Extra Lettuce. Plus, a Bag of Chips and a Side of Guac.

Throw in a fountain drink, and I’m in heaven.

  104. NayNay20 says:

With $15 I’m ordering my secret menu favorite: the Quesarito with carnitas. A couple of orders of guacamole to round things out nicely.

  105. Jalin says:

What’s really good is the chicken quesodilla most people don’t know they have it. I would get a chicken quesodilla with cheese, corn, lettuce, tomato and salsa, so yum. As well as chips and guac, mixed with the tomato salsa! Then a pink grapefruit Izze best meal!

  106. MR Gnarly says:

A lady from work told me i should try Chipotle,I would love to take her on my first visit. If I used a gift card would she think i’m thrifty or cheap? lol

  109. Nick says:

  111. Evan says:

Never been there before so how about you tell me what i should spend the gift card on.. Yumm yumm

  112. Bj says:

I just want a chicken burrito with rice, cheese, and salsa. The reason for this? I had a dream about Chipotle three nights ago and have been craving this order ever since.

  113. Our Chipotle trips usually cost just over $15 ($16 or $17 at the most). That’s less than we pay for fast food half the time.

Mine is usually the bowl with brown rice, barbacoa, black beans, roasted corn salsa, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, fajita vegetables, and guacamole. And I top it with their chipotle Tabasco. Spicy.

Hubby generally gets the bowl with white rice, carnitas, corn salsa, cheese, double sour cream, and guacamole. He puts the green Tabasco on his (I don’t know what’s in that one).

Add two drinks, usually tea because neither of us can tolerate high fructose corn syrup or aspartame.

Our closest Chipotle is about an hour and a half away, so when we go, it’s really a nice treat. 🙂

  114. Scott says:

I’d get a burrito with baracoa, pinto beans, cheese, hot salsa, and guac. Then a side of chips, guac, and salsa. A large Fanta to wash it down and then immediately throw it all on the GROUND! I don’t need no your handouts. I’m an Adult! Please. You can’t buy me chiptole man!

  115. kevin says:

one kids meal with the build your own tacos and one burrito with pork, hot and mild salsa, cheese, fresh jalapenos, cilantro and add chips and guac

  116. Ryan N says:

I would go w/ the Steak fajita burrito, w/ hot salsa, sour cream, lettuce, and cheese, w/ a couple of sids of chips and salsa. Hot salsa!!!

  117. Kate Carlson says:

Make it a bowl w/Plain brown rice – black beans and pinto beans – fajita veggies – barbacoa – medium AND hot salsa – corn – lettuce – Guac. Also I’ll take a bag of chips with more Guac. DELISH! thanks!!!

  118. Jessica W. says:

Carnitas bowl with rice, pinto beans, medium salsa, lettuce, cheese and sour cream 🙂 YUM!

  119. Amanda says:

Burrito bowl with rice, black beans, chicken, a little bit of hot salsa, cheese, sour cream, and a generous amount of green Tabasco sauce. Chips on the side with some more hot salsa. I use them to scoop up the bowl goodness, too. Washing it down with the largest fountain drink available. Always the fountain drinks because I need the free refills with all that hot sauce!

  120. Barbacoa Burrito. Cilantro lime rice, black beans, tomatillo-red chili salsa, cheese, sour cream and guac. Bag of chips with tomatillo green chili salsa and an extra side of guac. Huge drink.

    Please and thank you.

  121. Briteeni says:

Just in time for mi cumpleanos! 🙂 its only right to double up with a bowl AND burritooo. First off I must indulge in one of their lovely tequila induced margharita (alcohol puts my tastebuds on steriods). Followed by a carnitas bowl w/ rice, corn, cheese, salsa, sour cream and lettttttuce pray bc I’m ab to burst an artery w/ my nxt order.. A steak burrito (double meat) black beans, spicy salsa, some green leafy stuffy for good measure, extra cheese and sour cream and a smidge of guac. Ohh and sum of those nummmmy chips, I need all elements of a complete meal – so the crunch is beyond necessary! Despite my tummy resembling a woman in her 3rd trimester, I’m bound to b floatin on cloud dine. 🙂

  122. Andrew says:

I always get the same thing at Chipotle because my order is that good. Burrito with white rice, fajita, chicken, mild, hot, sour cream, extra cheese, and lettuce. I get the hot salsa and sour cream mixed together for dipping my chips into (its like a spicy taco dip). I have to have the green Tabasco on my burrito or it just isn’t the same. For my remaining funds I would get a beer or two, preferably a Corona to stick with the Mexican theme. THE PERFECT CHIPOTLE ORDER…

  123. Allison R says:

I always get the same thing, which only comes out to $8 and some change…boy oh boy…I get to practically DOUBLE my order! I’ll get my standard (if it’s not broken, don’t fix it!)- veggie burrito bowl with cilantro lime white rice, black beans, fajita veggies, pico, corn salsa, a little hot salsa, LOTS of guac, and top it off with lettuce. Plus a diet coke. Now for my extra $7…hmmm…chips to scoop up my burrito bowl goodness AND a margarita to wash it all down with! (Do all Chipotles have margs? Or is that just cuz Wisco is a bunch of alcoholics?)

  124. David K says:

I’ll order two fajita burritos. 1st one with double steak, cheese, corn, mild salsa, and lil bit of hot salsa, guac, sour cream, cheese, and a sprinkling of lettuce. (makes me feel healthy). 2nd one will be same as above except chicken in place of steak. And the burritos will be both for me. I will be in a fight with my toilet after this meal, but it’s well worth it.

  125. attgig says:

Salad bowl – little bit of brown rice, little bit of black beans, fajita veggies,Steak AND carnitas. Roasted Chili-Corn Salsa, Tomatillo-Red Chili Salsa, Fresh Tomato Salsa, Guac on top.
chips & guac (yes, more guac).
    and a drink.

i think that about covers the 15 bucks.

  126. Keiko says:

My Chipotle Burrito Bowl (carefully crafted and perfected over hundreds of visits):

    – Brown rice (let’s at least pretend we’re gonna be healthy while we devour this thing)
    – Fajita veggies (don’t let them skip on this!)
    – Half chicken, half steak (best of both worlds)
    – Mild salsa & Corn salsa
    – Sour cream (on the side, otherwise they’ll drown you with this)
    – Cheese
    – Lettuce
    – Guacamole (worth the extra $whatevertheyfeellikecharging)

If you’re feeling especially adventurous (AKA, bad) then grab a bag of chips to scoop up your bowl with.

  127. Ali says:

Chicken soft tacos with cheese, lettuce, fresh tomato salsa, and tomatillo-red chili salsa – $6.25
Steak burrito with rice, pinto beans, cheese, lettuce, fresh tomato salsa, and tomatillo-red chili salsa – $6.65
    Chips & tomatillo-green chili salsa – $1.75

Total – 14.65 (ok, it will be over $15 with tax, but close enough) =)

  128. Tyler Golding says:

Chicken Quesadilla, with a side of quacamole and sour cream, with a corona and some chips and mild salsa. Yes, please!

  129. rudeluke says:

    Chipotle Haiku

    chicken burrito
    red chili and roasted corn
    ordered from my phone

  130. Lily Sheng says:

I’ll get a “naked burrito” with Barbacoa (never had it before and would like to try it because I like how the name sounds!), white rice, Fajita veggies, Fresh tomato salsa, sour cream+cheese+guac (oh my!) I skipped beans because I’m going to order some chili, have been seeing copycat recipes for Chipotle’s chili popping up all over the web and would really like to find out what the fuss is! If I still got money left, will throw in some chips! Thanks for the giveaway!

  131. Jenna Z says:

Burrito bowl (no meat) with Brown Rice, Black Beans, Fajita Vegetables, Guacamole, Romaine Lettuce, and Roasted Chili-Corn Salsa. Chips and Fresh Tomato Salsa. And top it off with an order of Soft corn tortilla tacos with fajita veggies, cheese and black beans, quessadilla style, crisped up a little on the grill. Yum!

  132. Kat says:

Three soft tacos…one with chicken, one with steak, and one carnitas…getting all three options makes the mouth very happy. Ask for all the salsas on the side. Top each soft pouch of meaty goodness with brown rice, black beans and EXTRA cheese. Sprinkle of lettuce for the finish and a dollop of sour cream. Washed down with an iced tea. This = the perfect meal.

  133. PB says:

I’ll always get the burrito, it’s the most filling. For the filling there must be: chicken, black beans, white rice, cheese, sour cream, and hot salsa. The mixture of the sour cream and the hot salsa is amazing.

Since there’s still money leftover, I’ll get a drink. Nothing carbonated though because it tastes bad with spicy foods.

  134. Kyle T says:

Burritol with chicken, black beans, romaine, hot salsa, cheese, sour cream, some guac and rice. I would also get some hot salsa, guac, and chips and wash it down with a Corona

  135. David says:

2 steak tacos, steak burrito and water

  136. Stephen says:

    Oh, Chipotle.
    How you doth bloat me.
    With your carnitas and beans
    It’s both delicious and mean.
    No antibiotics or hormones
Lettuce, guac and a shoe horn
For me to get back into my Chevy Yukon.

  137. Rachel says:

I would try the “Quesarito” off the “secret menu”. What can go wrong with a burrito wrapped in not just a plain tortilla, but a cheese quesadilla!? I would fill my quesarito with rice, chicken, fajita veggies, mild salsa, corn salsa, a little bit of lettuce, and yes MORE cheese. I would also get a side of guac to ensure the perfect amount on each bite.

  138. Andrew says:

I typically go with a double meat chicken burrito…with no beans, a little bit of the both the white and brown rice, fajita veggies…medium and corn salsa, and cheese!! Then i like to get the chips, salsa (medium) and guac, add a drink and you’re right around the $15 mar!

  139. Matt says:

Chicken fajita burrito with brown rice, with corn salsa, some more corn… did I say more corn? Oh yeah, and cheese and lettuce. With chips and medium salsa. But seriously, I like the corn.

  140. Nikki says:

I am a small girl, but I can eat!!!! A chicken burrito with white rice, black beans, tomato salsa, sour cream, cheese, guac, lettuce, corn, and obviously chips and more guac on the side!!!! I top it off with a large diet pepsi 🙂

  141. Laura S says:

My GoTo Bowl is – Rice, Black Beans, Barbacoa AND Carnitas, Mild and Corn Salsa, Sour Cream, Cheese and Xtra Lettuce for the Crunch! Chips and Xtra Guac on the Side. With a Large Diet Coke! It’s da bomb! 🙂

  142. Bobby says:

I am in downtown LA, so my $15 order would have to include about $10 for parking, the rest will go to a quesarito with carne asada, and all the other gobblydeegook they can fit in!

  143. Sara Floyd says:

I’d get a veggie burrito with extra black beans, brown rice, fajitas, tomatos, corn salsa, guac, lettuce. I would also get guac and chips on the side along with their yummy orange peach juice!

  144. Mike says:

I gotta go double-wrapped burrito with Barbacoa, Brown Rice, Lettuce, Hot and Roasted Corn Salsa, Sour Cream, and Cheese. Then accompany it with a bag of chips and guac. Bliss!

  145. Chris aka NamebranD says:

Item 1: Fajita burrito. Half chicken half steak. Brown rice, don’t think twice. Pico, verde, and corn salsas for a little bit of everything that doesn’t make my nose run. Top it all off with some sour cream, cheese, guacamole, and a pinch of lettuce.

Onto item 2. On the side I get a bag of chips and verde salsa. I like to crush up a few chips to sprinkle onto every bite of my burrito. At Qdoba you can order your burrito with tortilla strips on it, but I digress.

Item 3 for mah next meal: 2 soft tacos with chicken, pinto beans, green salsa, cheese, and sour cream.

Runs up to about $15. Boom!

  146. Steven L. says:

chicken burrito with white rice, black beans, corn salsa, guacamole, and sour cream +
    chips and guacamole x2 +
    lemonade =
    food coma

  147. PageT says:

I would get a burrito bowl with brown rice, black beans, half chicken, half steak, mild salsa, corn salsa, lettuce and cheese. Then get chips, guacamole and a pomegranate izze drink.

  148. Ryan Peters says:

Half chicken/half steak burrito double meat quesarito (melted cheese makes this phenomenal and they have to double wrap it for free sometimes because of this beast of a burrito) with white rice, black beans, salsa, corn, cheese, guac, and CILANTRO. That’s the key!

  149. Rachel says:

Let’s see. Chicken burrito with black and pinto beans, cilantro lime rice, roasted corn salsa and tomatillo salsa, lettuce, and cheese. Definitely would have to get a side of their chips and salsa. Also a beer to wash it down with!

  150. COBRA says:

Double wrapped Burrito. Brown rice, black beans, barbacoa and steak, fajitas, mild, hot, corn, sour, cheese, cilantro, lettuce. A side of honey chipotle dressing. Chips, medium salsa, and a marg or modelo! Yummmm

  151. If you gave me this card I could take 2 of the freeloaders who never comment on anything on this site other than these contests out to eat with me.

  152. kyndra says:

CRUNCHY steak quesarito. Its a cheesy melty quesadilla stuffed with the usual burrito suspects – rice, sour cream, guac, lettuce both corn and spicy. But I ask them to crumble a few chips on top before wrapping. Auh-mazing. PS – dont forget the margaritas. Makes the workday go by so much faster. 🙂

  153. Tammy says:

I would order anything to equal 15.00 so I can taste chiplote I’ve never tasted this place yet.

  154. Michael says:

I must suck at Chipotle (only been twice), but I’ve never hit $15. A gift card would be a good incentive though.

I don’t get drinks. But I would defintely venture off and try some new dishes… off their small menu.

  155. Zachary Jacob Zblewski says:

I would get 3 soft tacos and 3 tacos and stack them up in an alternating pattern. I would then cover them with with guacamole. And lots and lots of hot sauce. No utensils of any sort would be allowed in the eating of this concoction. If I win, I may actually do this and document it. Maybe.

  156. M86 says:

Carnitas burrito with the tomatillo salsa, their cheese, the fajita vegs, black beans, sour cream and a tiny bit of guac! My nearest Chipotle is about 25 miles away, but it’s worth it!

P.S. Ryan, and fellow GrubGrade writers… I hate to say anything about this, because I love you guys and your reviews, but I won a $25 Quizno’s gift card from you, and I never received it (The winners were announced June 23rd of this year). I just assumed it got lost in the mail or you guys forgot… No biggie though!

    • Ryan says:

Wow, I’ve been trying to track down your info for a while now… have no sign of it, but I know it was never sent. Late June was a weird time. Can you email me? Thanks

  157. Joshua K says:

Steak Quesorito ( I JUST WENT THERE)
    +Double Meat
    -Black Beans
    -Sour Cream & Cheese
-Drink (squeeze limes in it, Margarita if possible instead )

  158. Phaet says:

I am fanatical about Chipotle’s chicken, so I’d get a burrito with 1.5x white rice, triple chicken, and a touch extra cheese than normal. Yes, it’s lacking in greens and beans, but there’s less to get in the way of that trifecta that is the rice, cheese, and chicken. I’ll have that beast for dinner on a Friday night and hibernate until 8:30AM on Monday!

  159. 3horseshoes says:

    chips and salsa…and alcohol

  160. Ruffy says:

    2 bags of chips
    pinto beans
    lots of cheese
tomato salsa / corn salsa (skip the medium/hot to prevent overly soggified chips)
    sour cream
    lots o’ guac
I may have to smuggle in some jalapeno slices from home

  161. Al says:

I’ll keep this short and organized (and of course delicious)

Chicken burrito (a must, they’re known for their monster BURRITOS people!)
    -White cilantro/lime rice
    -Sour cream
    -Corn salsa
    -Guac (absolute MUST)
Before completing my order, YES Chipotle man/woman, I will take Chips w/ Guac AND Corn Salsa on the side. Then asking for a salsa container on the side so I can travel to the Tabasco bar before leaving and that baby up with Jalapeno Green Pepper hot sauce!

If my Chipotle in PA sold alcohol I would definitely get a delish craft beer along with my meal.
My mouth is watering just writing this post, bring on the Chipotle gift card!

(sorry this was by no means short like I said it would be!)

  162. Jennifer says:

1 double steak burrito bowl, hot salsa, lettuce cheese, sour cream, pintos, and rice with a side of chips to scoop it up with and 2 orders of their honey chipotle dressing (one to pour on my bowl, one to pour on the soft tacos, AND an order of chicken soft tacos (double meat) with hot salsa, cheese, sour cream, and lettuce. And if that doesn’t bring me to 15, add a couple of izzes. Dinner for me and my new hubby.

  163. Lyle says:

First off, I need to lock that burrito down. Fajita burrito w/ carnitas and a little bit of everything from the sauce bar. Once the burrito is wrapped, I’m that guy that asks them to throw the burrito on the grill for a minute or two so the flour tortilla is a little crispy and the burrito holds up better. It’s good. Try it sometime.

Second, need to get that drink. Usually a mix of unsweetened iced tea and lemonade, with some ice and lemons as well. FIYA.

Believe it or not, ya boy is still hungry, so I might just get myself a bag of chips with the corn salsa. Maybe even a little shredded cheese on top. Throw a little bit of the green tabasco sauce on top and I’m good to go. Or sit. And not be able to get up for a half hour. Whatever. Worth it.

  164. Taylor says:

$15!!? That’s the magic number I spent that on Tuesday after my brain melting Nursing Final on Tuesday!! Yes I am a guy! …actually more like $20 after I hit the bakery in our mall connected to Chipotle haha, but my $15 order is
Burrito- Brown Rice, Pinto Beans, Steak, Medium Salsa, Corn Salsa, Lettuce, and Guacamole
Side of Guacamole to eat with a fork or dip the burrito in
    Large Diet Coke
Leaves just a enough room for a few Buttercream Sprinkle Cookies afterwards!

  165. Steve B says:

One day I want to get drunk at a Chipotle.

  166. Marta says:

Oh man. My Chipotle order never changes: burrito with white cilantro-lime rice, steak, black beans, pico de gallo, red chili salsa, roasted corn salsa, cheese, and guac, with some Tabasco on top to really burn the living daylights out of my tastebuds. My Chipotle doesn’t serve alcohol, so I’d take it home and enjoy it with a Corona or two!

That would run me about $8, but I’d for sure give the remaining balance on the gift card to the next person in line. A little generosity makes the world a better place, and a little Chipotle brightens everyone’s day — what’s not to love?

  167. Anie says:

Definitely a salad with barbacoa, black beans, and corn salsa. Then, I would get the exact same thing to share with….oh, who am I kidding, both are for me!!!!!!!

  168. Jon says:

A giant chicken burrito with everything in it and guac! Yeah buddy, that’s a good way to roll.

  169. alberto says:

i would get a barbacoa burrito…brown rice, pinto beans, barbacoa, fresh tomato and green salsa, sour cream and cheese, a little bit of lettuce and a side of fresh tomato salsa. I would get water and a couple lemon wedges from the drink bar and squeeze it into my fresh tomato salsa and grub down…

  170. ToriG says:

It’s so hard to just pick one thing at Chipotle though! I generally get the veggie burrito bowl with black beans and some grilled veggies, lettuce, sour cream, hot sauce (extra), mild salsa, cheese, and guacamole. Add in a side of their delicious chips to dip into the bowl and I am set….for 2 days 🙂

  171. Travon says:

bowl, white rice, black beans, chicken, tomatoes, corn, sour cream and cheese!

  172. Katie M says:

A burrito that’s as big as my head (wait….that was the tagline of the hole-in-the-wall place that we’d frequent post bar-hopping in college)…anyway, at good ole’ Chipotle, I like to get a burrito with chicken, lots of black beans, lettuce, rice, cheese, and a bit of corn salsa. Yum!

  173. SO. MANY. SOFT. TACOS. And nachos. Ooh ooh.. and quesadillas.

  174. david says:

Did we reach the magic number yet??? I would like to be wrapped up in a big wet tortilla along side with my big wet steak burrito.

  175. Heather says:

Burrito bowl, no rice. Only pinto beans, steak, mild salsa, and cheese. Chips + guac, and a drink – either Mr. Pibb, or juice 🙂

  176. emily says:

Hmm. It’s been four months since I’ve eaten Chipotle since I’ve been away at school in an area that does not have them (TRAGEDY) and since I’m a poor college kid, I’d make this two meals.

The first would be my standard: chicken burrito, white rice, no beans, medium salsa, cheese, lettuce, and a little bit of sour cream. Absolutely divine.

The second would be something I wouldn’t normally try… I usually stick the chicken because I know I like it, but I am intrigued by carnitas and would probably try that in a bowl with brown rice, no beans, medium salsa, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream.

And if I had the money, chips!

  177. Tiny2819 says:

i LOVE getting a vegetarian bowl with rice, guac, tomatoes, corn, cheese and sour cream – then get a bag of chips and use it as the most delicious dip EVER.. crap now i’m hungry… and my “enchiladas” in the oven are not chipotle… sad

  178. Elizabeth says:

Let’s have some fun here — margarita! Yes, my Chipotle actually has margaritas now! So, let’s see…a margarita and a chicken burrito bowl. (Chicken, brown rice, black beans, add some black beans in there…what’s more fun than a drunk farting person, cheese, corn salsa, mild salsa, sour cream, and lettuce. Would love the guac, but pretty sure that would put me over the $15 mark)

  179. Quinn says:

    I like chipotle

  180. Jackie says:

I always get the burrito with shredded pork, black beans, extra cheese, extra guac, and sour cream!
