This has always been one of my favorites. But I forget about it because generally it is not on the menu but they will usually always make it for you if you ask.

I go with onions & green peppers, sometimes olives. Maybe a little mayo. (I know, I know.)

      Mayo? WTF!!

    • jilly from philly says:

What do you people have against mayo? I love it have to have it on subs. Even the meatball one. I bet you people hate ranch dressing and baby pandas too,smh @ all of u mayo critics!

For this price you could instead get a Spicy Italian $5 Footlong. Along with the pepperoni and cheese it also comes with salami and you could have them add marinara sauce to it for free.

Just a heads up for the value conscious.

I recently came to the conclusion that green olives are a reasonable replacement for pepperoni on a pizza but jalapenos, which I love, just don’t make the cut.

On that particular sub, I would sub out the current ingredients for bacon, lettuce, and tomato, with mayo.

Again I’ll say it…mayo? WTF!! There is already marinara sauce on this, why do you need more?

  4. George says:

This sounds like a pretty awesome deal, however, do they actually put a decent amount of pepperoni on it? From the picture, this sandwich doesn’t actually look big enough to fill a person up. Maybe I’ll just have to get a lot of spinach on it.

    Just had it, skip it…

This has always been on my menu in the $5 slot. I have always been tempted to get it, but without knowing what it was/other $5 subs sounding more exciting I usually get those.

I would assume it has more pepperoni than found in the Italian, but maybe not more meat.

Green peppers, onions, tomatoes and banana peppers would be good for me. To bad they don’t have mushrooms at our local s/w. Does anyone have them at their’s?

  8. Joe Cool says:

Onions, japs, olives, and maybe tomatoes depending on how they look that day. Definitely not mayo!!!!

  9. Wilk says:

I normally order this sub with extra mayonnaise.

  10. CC says:

Just needs mayo and it’s perfect.

  11. Brandon says:

I usually order this sub without pepperoni, cheese or vegetables. Just Italian herb bread and lots of Mayo!!!

  12. I have had this Subway Footlong Pizza and reviewed it on my food blog. http://bit.ly/LIH9Wr Enjoy. HTG
