    Greasy goodness.

On BK’s website they also are listing an LTO “Deluxe cheeseburger” which seems to be their answer to the W from Wendy’s in that it has 1000 Island for a topping. Have they always had that? I haven’t seen any advertising for it at any of my local BKs.

I don’t care the the sauce, but the meat on these Toppers is excellent for fast food. Best of the “Big Three” if you ask me — nice char and smoke flavor, plus lots of nooks and crannies.

So do we draw straws to see who reviews this one?

Also, nooks and crannies? Are we talking burgers or english muffins? =P

I hate this sandwich.. I’ve had it many times from different locations.. a minimal patty, two small pieces of bacon and thick slather of ‘special’ sauce that ruins the sandwich. The Deluxe Stacker is a much better sandwich for the same price from BK.

The BK over here (Portland, OR) is advertising new, thicker hardwood smoked bacon. Has anyone else seen these ads? Is this just the same weak-a bacon they have had before? I think the topper burgers are good, but they definitely have to step their bacon game up!

I have tried the “deluxe”. I thought it was very good. The meat was very homemade tasting. Although we don’t have the mushroom version here in Canada, I am very happy to say the topper burgers are the same price of $1.99. Very good deal and better tasting than a whopper which in canada is also 1.99.

So does this mean the deluxe topper is dead? I only see the other two in posters with this one.

I love ketchup/mayo on a burger, I love cheese/bacon on a burger, but I do not like all 4 at once.

So my local BK (SF Bay Area) had the previous toppers for $1.99 each. Now they have added this new topper and they are all $3.99 each! Sorry, this is not worth that much at all. Going to check another BK to see if this was a fluke, but all of their signage on the drive thru menus (three places that I saw) had it listed at $3.99
