I’m holding out for the artisan donuts, myself.

  2. Mike N says:

I think people who are true artisans are going to have to come up with a new term for themselves.

    • Anthony says:

I agree. These craptastic fast food joints like Domino’s and Dunkin Donuts are literally going to change the dictionary definition of “artisan.”

was thinking the same thing. odds these bagels were made by hand? odds these bagels require a specially skilled worker to make them?

      that’s what i thought

Is it just me, or does it seem the term “artisan” is getting passed around like a cheap hooker at a bachelor party these days. The quick service industry using the term “artisan” is almost as bad as American chefs and food show hosts pretentiously over-enunciating the word “spaghetti” just to impress themselves. I just can’t help but laugh every time while coughing douchebag under my breath.

The Sun Dried Tomato one is tasty, but I would hardly call it “Artisan”. Also, Test Marketing here in the Albany Area is a French Toast Breakfast Sandwich that is pretty gross. The French Toast is sort of “Gummy”. Not recommended.

  5. Marc Fintz says:

Our company has filed Federal and NYS complaints demanding that Dunkin Donuts cease using the term Artisan because they do not use Artisan techniques and the commercial are deceptive and misleading.
