I’m in for this (Turkey Club) and a BLT if the local place is offering.

Normally I would be all over this, but after reading the reviews on here & thinking about it, I think I’m going to pass. Hot turkey cold cuts just doesn’t sound appealing to me.

Ok, had one of these. All in all it was an ok sandwich that was saved by some good bacon – overall I would give this a 6.5 on a scale of 10

The problem with this sandwich though is the price. I would purchase one of these from time to time when I’m on a BLT run if the price was around $2.50-$2.75

Unfortunately it was $4.19 – to me, that’s not a fair price and I wouldn’t pay that amount. Maybe they’ll have a bunch of bogo coups for awhile.

we had two….they were delicious! First fast food sammie to look like the picture… plenty of good bacon, cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato, mayo…lots of turkey… I recommend the club!!

  5. Scrape says:

The turkey club wasn’t bad at all, especially for free! My only complaint was that I wish the turkey was a bit hotter, if it was supposed to be hot to begin with. The bacon was on point and the bun was exceptional for fast food. I’d probably order one again, and likely will, as they passed out coupons for more free ones with purchase for for consecutive tuesdays. That, on top coupons for my usual 2 for $4 chickens, though the chicken club is sadly not available anymore with the advent of the turkey sandwiches 🙁

I was thinking the same thing! Hot ‘cold cuts’ is just weird; if it was real sliced turkey breast, akin to some of their newer ‘premium’ roast beef sandwiches that would be different, but also would surely be priced a lot higher.

Apparently you people have never heard of the work of art that is the fried bologna sandwich? Apparently no one’s ever ordered such a thing as a pepperoni pizza (or a pizza sub)? Never tried an Arby’s Hot Ham ‘n’ Cheese back when they existed?

Aww I was near an Arby’s around 2 today, I hate that the deal was for such a short time. It’s hard to complain when they’re giving out free food though, that’s always cool. The turkey club looks pretty good, I might actually have to buy one sometime.

  8. Crysta says:

We tried the club, and it wasn’t bad. We just don’t think it’s worth the $4.29 price tag for just a sandwich (around $7 for a combo).

And it was REALLY salty. The only flavor the turkey itself really has is salt.

We got lucky. We literally walked into our local Arby’s and had no line to contend with. (Apparently the wait was pretty thick there early on.) My wife and I each had the Grand Turkey Club and thought it was pretty durn good! (Or did the bacon make it better?) Anyway, I would get this again. Did anyone try one w/ the Arby’s sauce?

    • Marie says:

Tried just a little of the Arby’s sauce by dipping the Grand Turkey Club into a dollop of it, and thought that the taste of it overpowered the sandwich itself. Glad that I didn’t put it on the whole sandwich first. While the Arby’s sauce complements their roast beef sandwiches nicely, it just didn’t work for me on the turkey sandwich.

I got just the Turkey Classic and was not a fan. I can’t pinpoint what it was that I didn’t like but now that I read the comments, I think it was the fact that it was basically hot lunchmeat.
I ended up putting a boatload of Arby’s sauce on it & it made it WAY better!
Still not a fan; I will just stick with the regular roast beef. But that was pretty cool of them to do the promo, especially the fact that no purchase was necessary.

OK, this might be dumb or maybe I am slow…did yall know that Arby’s is a play on “Roast Beef”, RB. LOL 🙂

  11. Mike says:

It was OK. Not something that will cause me to make a trip to Arby’s to buy like their RoastBurgers a few years ago. Those were a pretty good item. This, not too impressed

  12. Marie says:

Tried the Turkey Club one and was surprisingly impressed with it. The turkey was moist and flavorful and good quality bacon/toppings for a chain restaurant. Would buy again just wish price of it wasn’t so high!
