is that blizzard supposed to be upside down?

    • Crysta says:

That’s how they used to give them to you, to prove how thick the ice cream is. Some places will still flip it upside down. So yes, it’s supposed to be upside down. 😉

What, did they finally exhaust every possible combination of chocolate things?

  3. ed says:

The oreo blizzard is already on the menu. What gives?

  4. Joe says:

Both are already on the menu.
Did they run out of ideas for Blizzards?

I demand the head of of the Dairy Queen Executive Vice President in charge of selecting the Blizzard of the Month!!! His glory days of the Nutter Butter Blizzard and Candy Shop Blizzard are now well behind him. He is clearly past his prime.

  5. Dee says:

I am really disappointed in this month’s blizzard. This is already on the menu. Why not try something new or bring back the Pecan Pie something others loved. We can get this any day and I am so over all the chocolate ones too!

I wish DQ would bring back the $5 mini-blizzard combo. That was a great deal. 1/4 burger, fries, drink, and a mini blizzard for less than you average combo anywhere else. Great, now my stomach is growling. time to fire up the grill.

I like mushrooms, but not on a hamburger. I think I will pass.

  8. kikurage says:

This mushroom burger looks bad like a plastic. I do not have a bit of appetite. I will pass too.

  9. Pat says:

My daughter had a mushroom burger for the first time last week and loved it and vowed to have more! Maybe you should try it before saying no good.

  10. Federick says:

Yeah DQ needs update their mushroom and swiss picture because it looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like that. It looks more like it was run over by a car. The bun is plain and smashed and there are a few small, sickly looking mushrooms on it. It was almost downright nasty looking.

But if you like paper that the employee seems to be incapable of removing from the cheese, you may love it. Especially when you think you’ve gotten all the paper off only to bite into more of it!

Also, my brother ordered the chicken strip basket which had tiny chicken strips – again not resembling the picture AT ALL, and had small pieces of toast I could have just made at home – in other words, why go out if I can just get the same thing or better at home without burning any gas?

They always have a line on Sunday and we spent around $20 total with the Blizzards we bought. So after going through that, there is ZERO percent chance I EVER plant to repeat the experience. There are just too many other fast food joints around offering similar items if that’s what I’m in the mood for. I have no problem avoiding the experience in the future.

DQ – good on ice cream, FAIL on mushroom and swiss burgers and chicken strip baskets. FAIL, FAIL, FAIL. F-A-I-L. You’ve been warned.
