This looks so good, I’m a huge fan of sourdough creations. 🙂

I am jealous of anyone who is within an hours drive of a Jack in the Box. I have never even seen one.

I have 2 that are within a short bike ride away from my house. And 1 that is about 5 blocks from my work. Jealous much? LOL.

Haha yea they’re all over the place where I live too, we probably have more of them than we have Wendy’s, and it’s about a tie with Burger King. Jack in the Box is right up there with In-n-Out and Taco Bell for me when it comes to fast food. Not everything they do is really good, but the variety in their menu is great, and it’s all available 24 hours a day.

On the down side, I’ve never lived in an area where there was a Chick-Fil-A anywhere nearby. I guess you can’t have everything.

I was excited when I moved to Arizona b/c I know am super close to Jack in the Box and Chick-Fil-A. The only things missing are Steak & Shake and Krystals.

I also still need to find a Del Taco (I just want to try it.)

      • Shannon says:

Yeah. So, where do you live?

      • Shannon says:

Jeff, and you? The comment was actually meant for you, but thanks for answering TJ.

Looks good… it’s affordable… but the Jack in the Box here closed over a year ago. It’s a Dunkin Donuts now. 🙁

I’ve only eaten at JITB about 4 times in the last 2 years. At least where I live (in Colorado) they are pretty new to the area.

I am so waiting for DD to open up here, and with the recent openings of JITB near me, would trade on for a DD in a heartbeat!

Not sure you are missing much, as it’s been hit or miss for me. The last time I ate there and got the sirloin burger, it was a bunch of the mini’s (no longer on their menu) and so dried out that I threw out more than I ate.

Aside from that, I do like thier burgers and chicken. But would take Carl’s Jr. anyday over their burgers and Popeye’s for thier chicken. But even with my limited experience with them, would pick them over Mc D’s, BK (haven’t eaten there in over 10 years) and Wendy’s.

So I don’t think your missing much… I want a Zaxby’s (sp?) to open here. They sound so good. And while I have only had In ‘n Out once (about 8 years) ago, wish they’d come here to.

      You can always relocate! lol

I had this over the weekend. And to my surprise, I did like it.

I’m not a reviewer, and don’t know all the terms, so I’ll try to do my best.

First, in terms of the picture, my sandwich was about half the size.

Overall the taste was really good (I’m not fond of tomatoes so took them off) but it did hit the spot.

The chicken was good. The chipotle (mayo), wasn’t too hot (and I’m not a fan of real hot spices) but it was noticeable and tasted good. In fact, after finishing the sandwich, still had a bit of the chipotle taste in my mouth.

The cheese was hardly noticeable and the baco seemed to have a more salty taste, then bacon.

But overall I thought it was a good sandwich and would get it again.

I lament the fact that there’s no JITBes in Florida. Their food sounds reasonably priced, and advertisement pictures always look awesome.

This looks really good actually. JIB is just coming to Indy with about 5 new stores planned. I used to go there when I lived in Nashville and could eat about 5 of those tacos after a bender. Looking forward to giving this a try.

the JiTb’s in my city charge 6.49 for this combo, not 4.99.
i tried it a few days ago and it was decent.
    not great, but just ok!
