Arby-Q Is Back for a Limited Time at Arby’s

The Arby-Q sandwich from Arby’s is back for a limited time this month.  Check out our review from last year.

If you’re looking for a good time join us for an Arby-Q®! We take Arby’s signature slow-roasted beef and serve it up with tangy barbecue sauce on a perfectly toasted sesame seed bun. Now that’s good eatin’!

This is one of the few reasons I would ever visit Arby’s… I love these things. Something about them is very addicting.

The Arby-Q kinda reminds me of the McRib. They only bring it back certain times of the year, and it has a cult following (although the McRib’s following is larger, by far).

Maybe it’s me but didn’t these used to be 99 cents? Here the sign board says 2 for $5. And ancient I know but the regular RB special of 5 for $5 was fantastic! The ArbyQ would be 5 for $12.50…Ouch.

There is a commercial running around here for 2 for $5 either Beef N Cheddar or Regular Roast Beef.

REGULAR ROAST BEEF! 2 for $5?!? What is this world coming to? I remember when I was younger they were 5 for $5, then 5 for $5.95, then 5 for $6.95, but this is a huge jump.

5 for $12.50 doesn’t exactly roll off the ol’ tongue.

      • KTK says:

Yeah I was pretty surprised at the 2 for $5 regular roast beef myself. Thankfully for me, they give out coupons every month around here like clockwork. So I can still get the 5 for $6.95 w/ a coupon, among other deals.

I think you’re right, but that had to have been a while back… A year or two ago, I saw them 2 for $4, which wouldn’t be that bad if they’d stick a little more meat on them.

      Blame the Federal Reserve.

Yup, they used to be a dollar. And I don’t understand why Arby’s is making this a limited item. It seems like a staple of Arby’s.

One of the best fast food sandwiches around!

They aren’t always a dollar. They only run that special for a limited time during the time that the arby-q is offered. Otherwise they are around 3 dollars.

I always wait til that special pricing comes around…it may be a great sandwich, but I still can’t justify paying full price for it.

this one… eh not so much…

Never realized they stopped making these… seems like the last time I looked online at Arby’s a while back, it was still on the menu. Though it could be like the McRib and just be a permanent thing on the online menu, like the McRib. Anyway, not a huge fan of this sandwich. Though I’m not really a huge fan of any Arby’s sauces, aside from the french dip gravy stuff. I would rather just get a plain number 1.

As an FYI, this doesn’t seem to be a nation-wde thing, as I couldn’t find the sandwich at two Chicagoland Arby’s I went to within the last week.

  8. Nick says:

Why is this a limted-time offer? Don’t they always have the ingredients on hand anyway, or is this a different kind of BBQ sauce than their regular sauce?

  9. Scott says:

So, judging by the comments, people actually “eat” at Arby’s? I thought it was just a front for their illicit activities, because their “roast beef” is anything but.

Their Market Fresh sandwiches are the only reason I’d go there, but they’re too expensive.

Again, judging by the comments, it may be worth checking out, but not at $2.50 a pop! Maybe if they paid me $2.50 to try it…

    Yuk…

2 for $4 now here in Louisville. I’ll give them a try this weekend.
