    I haven’t had Taco Bell in 8 months! I feel like a former crack addict. The stuff they put in crack is probably slightly better for you than Taco Bell’s meat, lol.

  2. Andi says:

    Oh my gosh. This is just… Why oh why now of all days! Tomorrow is when I begin caring about my diet again ;_;

    I love myself some Taco Bell nachos ;_;

    I bet it’s really easy to do blog entries on Taco Bell. Just pull an old one out of the archives, and do a “find and replace” for the name.

  4. Bill says:

    just had three orders of them with the wife. it was really good and at 99 cents

  5. Shannon says:

    Good deal

  6. Jesse says:

    My favourite drunken creation from a combination Taco Bell/KFC is a Famous Bowl with Fries Supreme put on top. That’s good eatin.

    Nachos Supreme haven’t been the same since TB got rid of the green onions. They got rid of it during the E. coli scare (and it ended up being the lettuce or tomato, and they haven’t gotten rid of THOSE) boooooooooooooooooo

    Sounds like a good deal! I do think it’s odd they they have both Nachos Supreme and Nachos Belgrande on the menu. Apparently the only difference is the size.

    • Robby says:

      Nachos Supreme is basically the ‘large’ nachos choice, the Belgrande is huge. So yeah, as far as I know just size.

      99 cents is an awesome price! Getting some of these for sure.

    On a calorie-per-dollar basis that is hard to beat.

  10. Jon says:

    So basically they’re bringing back the 5 layer nachos.

    • Zachary Jacob Zblewski says:

      The 5-layer Nachos had Beef, Beans, Red Sauce, Cheese Sauce, and Shredded Cheese. I wouldn’t call them the same.

      This is the same Nachos Supreme that’s always on the menu, they just promo priced it to 99-cents.

    The Taco Bell I went to last night said their computer was messing up so it kept ringing up the nachos supreme as regular price. I asked if they could manually change the price and she said no…I was bummed

    • Mike N says:

      Wow, that’s pretty crappy of them. I went to TB last night too, and the deal wasn’t up on the windows yet, but the counter guy knew what I was talking about and punched a few buttons to ring up the special. I added a Chili Cheese Burrito and it was quite a meal for $2.58.

      • Chefprotoss or dan says:

        Chili cheese burrito? I haven’t had one since middle school. They were awesome! I’ve heard they are regional, but all I know is you can’t get them in the dc area. Tb really should bring those back.

        • Mike N says:

          They are still awesome! A little small for $1.59 (in taco bell terms) but still great, in a weird gooey sort of way. I think the TB chili cheese burrito is second only to the McRib in cult-like status. I’m glad a local TB has them on the menu. And BTW, it’s not my closest TB, because they’re more expensive and tend to suck, but there are so many TBs around, there’s another one nearby that rocks.

      Well i went for me and some co-workers and i ordered 3 nacho supremes for 99 cents and they told me there was a limit of two per order so i asked for a second seperate order, the guy told me he didnt know if he could do that so i went back through the drive thru!!!!

  12. Cindy Ayres says:

    The Taco Bell that I visted yesterday would only let me have 2 for 99 cents. I ended up paying that regular price for the third one. I asked way didn’t they advertise only 2 at this price on the TVcommercial?

  13. PlatypusTheConqueror says:

    When they had the Crunch Wrap Supreme for 99 cents before this promotion, each one I got was just sorta thrown together and very skimpy on the toppings. Like a little F*U from the people forced to make Crunch Wraps over and over during the promo.

    However, I’ve already ordered this special 3 times, and each time they absolutely *loaded* the nachos with so many toppings I ordered a couple tacos to dunk / scoop all the gooey goodness leftover in the tray.

    My theory is that the people assembling the food totally hate making the tedious Crunch Wrap, but love making a heaping pile of nachos?

    • Janus says:

      Your theory is correct. When you’re working drive-thru food line, and getting the order assembled and out the window in under one minute is a point of contention that causes strokes in your manager-in-charge…yeah, you hate making a buttloads of crunchwraps all day long.

      I’m crossing my fingers that the next $.99 item is the beef supreme chalupa. $.49 with my employee discount translates to my favorite item for super-cheap =)

      I was going to sit this one out specifically because they do that whenever anything else is 99 cents, but now I have to give ’em a fair shot. Thanks for the tip.
